This piece about this whole mess did include some info that answered a question I had about whether anyone was challenging Cannon's gag order. And yes, some media organizations have appealed it and it will be heard by the 11th Circuit in June. https://emptywheel.net/2026/03/26/jamie-raskin-induced-flopsweat-at-doj/
We could have run an attack ad in 2016 using that Domino's commercial. "That ad was funny then, because it was true. The man is an idiot. Imagine that guy negotiating with foreign governments."
I look at that seat, that toilet seat. It seems unusually low. Very low. Three things come to mind. 1. Shambles enjoys splattering his pee-pee all over the floor and walls. 2. Shambles routinely throws up and wants the vomit as far from his face as possible. 3. After sitting and shitting Shambles shouts "I can't get up, I can't get up!" until a pretty young thing comes to "raise him".
On Susie Wiles, "... radiating maternal warmth and upscale-Grandma coastal-cottage Yankee-candle-core." Being from Maine, I applaud the accuracy and alliteration of this description.
Every time I see Walt Nauta's name in print, I read "Saltine Nutta" and think of Harry da Souza just cold eating a peanut butter sandwich and drinking milk at midnight. To be fair, it doesn't take much to make me think of Tom Hardy in any role he's ever been in, but still. It's pretty much the only way any of this shitty timeline is even remotely palatable.
Question for Marcie and other lawyer types in the Wonketeriate (sp?). Back when the stolen documents investigation was in full swing, there was a moment where a federal judge (not Aileen Cannon) was considering the crime/fraud exception and whether one of Trump's lawyers should be compelled/allowed to testify. Ultimately, this judge (Beryl Howell) decided that yeah - there was strong evidence of a crime being committed and thus the lawyer(s) should be able to testify in certain circumstances. At that time, I read the decision. I saw it. It was about 60-70 pages and it was the most damning thing I've ever read about Trump's involvement in reading, hiding, removing, and sharing the docs and the extraordinary steps he took to obstruct the investigation. Super specific stuff and a jaw-dropping summary of evidence that was known at that time. I'm pretty damn sure that I first read it here on Wonkette probably via Liz Dye. I have searched the world wide web over to revisit this thing, but cannot find it. What I have found indicates that the decision is sealed. But I know I read it. And surely these days-what with the internet way back machine being what it is - it's still available out there somewhere. Anyone have a bootleg copy of this thing I read on my laptop circa 2023?
The love of money is the root of all evil. Never was a quote so true about someone. He’s Caligula, Nero, and the worst of the worst Emperors of any country ever on Earth. That I should see this in my lifetime…the same life that had Obama.
It's really too bad that our laws against obstruction of justice and concealing evidence were not up to the task when Trump and his lackeys did really a terrible job obstructing the evidence, but everyone treated it like their attempts were so successful, there's just no way anyone could prove all the crimes they did where we could all seem them happening. :P
Jack Smith should have leaked to the press the titles &/or topics of the EMPTY folders , which were for the MISSING documents they NEVER found. He actually had that responsibility to let America know just how bad this was. One of the general topics of docs Trump took was about nuclear power. Another topic was anything which he & Kash Patel could find about the Russia/Trump investigations. These were probably the docs which he tried to flush down the WH toilets. And Kash Patel & another guy were the ones going thru the archives pulling docs out for Trump. You can bet the farm that Trump sold top secret shit to anyone with a couple of spare twenties.

Ta, Marcie. Anything else I have to say would bring the banhammer of loving correction down on my head.
Well to be fair my eBay side hustle will probably clear $8 billion this year.

Aileen Cannon needs to be on the Volcano List too.

Everybody was shocked at how successful Hamas was with their October 7 attack, easily getting around Israeli security measures.
Anyone remember which country's representatives Trump gave code-level Israeli intel to in the Oval Office?
Doesn't matter what he does, even bombing school children in an unauthorized war, there and will always be no guardrails for this guy.
"Looks like our national documents in the shitter" - Rep. Jasmine Crockett
Fuck you, Donald Trump.
Jamie Raskin's letter is pretty damning.
Be careful. Susie's liable to put that Yankee Candle in your ear. Just sayin'. Oh, you think I'm funny? Like ha ha funny?
