You know, Alan Dershowitz didn't have a great reputation to begin with. Sure, he taught at Harvard, but that was about it. But at least he had one.

Now all he will be known as is the bad lawyer who was friends with Jeffrey Epstein and among the many failed lawyers who proved their bar cards were worthless in their defense of Ol' Swampy Trump.

Sad.

So, Alan Dershowitz and Corey Lewandowski are just using the Trump law suits as a way to pick up Court Room Groupies?

It's cold out. Every guy knows distances get shorter when it's cold.

Unfortunately, metabolic remains among the few ways in which he is competent.

You know, I thought of rephrasing it that way, but I figured a clever Wonker would see my non-comment and make the joke for me. So, well done!

Fair enough. We had a number of Labradors when I was growing up, and they weren’t exactly intellectual giants (although they were very sweet). But I’ve never had an Irish Setter, so I have no frame of reference.

They're not sending their best (yes, they are).

So much winning!

To be fair geography was never TFG's strong suit. Come to think of it I don't think he's ever had a strong suit.

Well, let’s be fair. Trump having Twitter access or not having access definitely does impact the 2022 and especially 2024 elections. His greatest tool for occupying the space in human brains is Twitter. I’ve said before, and I believe that Twitter banning Trump was the single most important step toward restoring order to our nation. Trump is an extraordinarily dangerous man and must never enjoy access to our daily lives like he did with Twitter. His lies have already undermined the safety of elected officials, democrat and republican, all over the country. Can you imagine how much safer we would all be, had Trump issued this concession: “I disagree with Joe Biden on most issues, and I believe America was stronger and safer under my leadership, but I must concede defeat and congratulate Joe on a strong campaign, and wish him well as he takes the reigns from me and, hopefully, keeps making America great.” He would have saved lives, careers, marriages, and the peace of mind of hundreds of millions of people who instead are living in fear and uncertainty. He’s a monster and existential threat.

Once again, hands too big.

There’s a case where the court said malls couldn’t stop people from leafleting in privately owned malls because they were the equivalent of the town square for a modern age. A good lawyer could probably make a case for TFG that wouldn’t make judges smirk.

Edited to say: not that he would win anyway.

While in Boston, one of our travelling companions convinced us to go to the deli where they filmed a scene in Love Story (never saw it, never read the book) for lunch. We walk in, the place is packed, and a cheeseburger's $20. And this was 1976 dollars. We left.

It’s never about winning arguments for TFG, it’s about forum selection. He has no understanding that even corrupt judges need to pretend to follow the law.
