I know of at least one person who could no longer deal with the venomous flood of anti-LGBTQ hate-spewing and committed suicide. Didn't know them personally, and it was a while back, but I still think about what happened. Also have friends and acquaintances who worry about being targeted by ICE.
Some days I'd like to just unplug and move out to a cabin in the middle of nowhere, no TV, no internet.
