Evangelicals are hastening its death in the US because few people have time for their hypocrisy, racism, sexism, homophobia, and general nastiness. Unfortunately for other Christians who are actually trying to live the message of Jesus in the Gospels, these are the people who are for many the current public face of Christianity.
