The moment this insane ingrate drops (Graham-McConnell style), I darn sure hope every stupid little thing he's ever said and done gets corrected and reversed before he gets to room temperature.

I swear to God, all these stupid projects, include the sheer vanity projects, should keep Trump from Presidenting, but sadly, they don't. He was still able to start an unnecessary war.

The crazy thing is that American History is already so "RAH RAH RAH, WE ARE THE BEST!!!!" It's literally terrifying that your president is able to openly demand that the Smithsonian just lie to people.

Gorgeous weekend here in Southern New England. Spent a delightful afternoon at the Barnstable County Fair and then to Mahoney's Garden Center in Falmouth MA out on Cape Cod, then home to the East Bay to putter around our gardens and yard. Delightful to be total Luddite for 48 hours and leave PC off and the phone at home on the desk.

Quick check: No "Big Beautiful Obituary". Done. Time to get outside with another cup of coffee while the hummingbirds stick landings on the refreshed feeder.

I am once again going to recommend Mount Vernon, whose museum is curated by an NGO non-profit, and they had NO qualms about discussing in great detail the names, lives, and horrific conditions that George Washington's slaves endured. Because you can't tell the story of that house without talking about the people who.... you know.... actually kept it running.

1. "...views American history as a 'prime tool' to advance ideas of social justice and the radical transformation of our society." The "radical transformation of our society" would be a bad thing, says the administration that has torn down the East Wing and wants to place gun-toting ICE thugs on every street corner.

2. "...tell America’s story with honesty and gratitude.” Honesty? Gratitude? Trump? HAHAHAHAHA!

Snot is running down my nose as I sit on a park bench, but I am not watching the pretty panties run. I just need some allergy medicine.

It's mostly the smoke from your local wildfires. No worries, except when you are down wind and the breeze is twenty knots and allllll the fire truck race past you and then a half hour later race back the other way.

The voice inside of me that says fuck all this shit is getting far too distracting

Yeah, that voice? it has all the skills to survive, but not this late into the summer,

I fucking hate this timeline, where I'm looking at areas I can run to on a tank or two of gas.

Gallbladder's lawn is kinda

looking good right now. Not long term because

because of all the construction equipment, but a work Visa for koi pond maintenance seems doable. Then we bounce to Europe or Asia.

Forgot that I I had a rotisserie chicken in the freezer after I ravaged the thighs and drum sticks.

It has been pressure cooked and is coolling for separation of bones and all that. Then I will add some seasonings, pre cooked rice and frozen vegetables for zero minutes. It will be really good and pretty healthy for two weeks of work meals.

You can also make broth with the carcass! Or just pay the $1.59

paul's avatar

I made bone broth with broth bones pressure cooked for hours in the past and didn't notice a difference either way.

paul's avatar

IDK. I pressure cooked bones with marrow for 12 hours, let it cool and cooked with it. Felt like a waste of time.

I think you need to reduce it by some large margin.

paul's avatar

Reducing goes against the set it and forget it idea of pressure cookong. It can be done for sure though.
