Another case destined to be laughed out of the courts. Time for judges to start to censure lawyers or hold them for contempt of wasting their got damns time.

We need to distract form the Epstein files and the glaring fact that Trump's economic policies are a disaster. The attack on Iran accomplished that. Plus, get things fired up enough and maybe able to cancel, or at least postpone the midterms. "Sounds like a plan, Sir!!"

Gabbard: "It is always the right time to expose the truth to the American people."

World's biggest liars always make it a point to insist that what they say is "the truth."

So worried that Iran "Might" be able to develop nuclear weapons Did we forget that Trump's buddy in NK already has them, and is way crazier than the Ayatollahs

AIB's avatar

It strikes me that T thinks everyone will back down in the face of force and threats of retaliation (for example, that Iran would cave) and yet he himself does not back down from force and retaliation by others. The purest expression of his approach to the world is “you can’t stop me.”

SethTriggs's avatar

Uhuh. Yeop.

I guess this edict came direct from the Kremlin. That's definitely not suspicious at all! Too bad a lot of Americans are perfectly fine with this...including the White House being a branch of Putin's government. Ah well as long as the libs are owned.

The Iran deal that Trump tossed out was working splendidly. First of all, Obama was not the chief architect, anymore than he was than PPACA was all his idea Just stick his name on something and the bigots crawl out from under their rocks and pile on! The "Obama Deal" "Obamacare, WE hate it!

Pauly2coffees's avatar

We all know what they think. The deal got black on it.

RRJKR's avatar

Also had all of the permanent members of the UN Security Council on it Trump and his cohorts are doing their best to do away with all of the post WWII gains and drag the USA back to 1890 and the whole world into insane disarray. These people are the most destructive evil force that has ever existed! Everybody needs to stop treating him like a bad joke None of this is a laughing matter.

These indolent abominations of carbon continue their desperate efforts to smear and/or discover some breathtakingly egregious scandal involving President Biden, or indirectly by way of his son, Hunter.

Thus their overwhelming embarrassment continues...

No, Wonkette should hold out for real intelligence. The way things are going, the Wonkette noncomments section could corner the market.

I think back to that (now discredited) experiment in which volunteers were asked to administer stronger and stronger electric shocks to fake test subjects who supposedly got wrong answers, to see if and when the shockers would finally refuse. Lyons apparently hit his cruelty limit. Or he was fired.

Dudley Didwrong's avatar

Help me out here. Please explain the use of the words "now discredited." I am aware of the controversy Milgram faced in the experiment's model, but the results which Milgram and others drew from his work have been verified by subsequent similar experiments with different and stronger ethical standards. It has been a while since I looked over the issue so maybe things have happened that I am not aware of.

Yes. And I truly believe him on that. I hope he gets the care he needs ... before we put him in prison.

I can’t decide if it got too hot for him, or not hot enough. Either way, good riddance.

I vote "too hot". He was actually hospitalized due to overwhelming stress prior to this.

I'm putting odds on "too hot". These MAGA cretins stared into the abyss, saw the abyss staring back at them, and blinked so hard so quick their eyelids turned into camera shutters.

Random's avatar

I presume "agony" to just be a common part of a MAGA's daily existence. It's just their definition of "agony" is knowing (without acknowledging) that you're living a dead philosophy and there will always be more people that stand up to you than worship you.

A lot of people really thought Trump was going to expose the imagined corruption of the Democrats and the deep state, and they expected Tulsi and Kash in particular to deliver. Of course it was all conspiracy theories, and now the corruption of the Trump administration has eclipsed any corruption that ever was in American politics. For a while they consoled themselves that Trump would at least end the wars, but then he turned out to be a bigger warmonger as well. Now Tulsi and them are doing some token stuff to try to salvage the movement, but it is falling apart fast.

DOJ demanded voter files from all 50 states.

DOJ sued 31 states for refusing their demand.

My law firm intervened to protect voters in those cases.

DOJ is now 0-5.

My firm is 5-0.

Lesson: When we fight we win.

Robots captured Russian army positions for first time in history

KYIV — President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Ukrainian army captured a Russian position using only ground robotic systems and unmanned aerial vehicles.

“For the first time in the history of this war, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned platforms — ground systems and drones,” Zelenskyy said on Monday.

“The occupiers surrendered, and the operation was carried out without infantry and without losses on our side,” Zelenskyy added.

And we're going deep in $M bombs and gold boats designed by the president. Ukraine is being forced to be the front lines for the latest in war techniques, and, rather than learn from our ally and support them, we're enriching their enemy because they told the teacher our president was cheating half a decade ago and he's still really angry and he's going to pout forever, while we get our asses kicked in the war he started.

Not the first time Russian soldiers have surrendered to remotely operated drones.

Chemical's avatar

That isn't that far from the truth.

Basically, these robots are remotely controlled, and have cameras.
