The problem with Republicans is that they use propaganda and misinformation better and without shame than we do, and it results in them capturing two large swaths of voters - the dumb and the insincere.

You either have to be dumb and unable to understand the difference between Joe Biden trying to STOP corruption in Ukraine by getting a corrupt prosecutor out and using US support as leverage, and Trump using US support to extort Ukraine into opening an “investigation” into his political opponent, or you are insincere. Biden volunteered that he had documents at home that were classified, and told agents to come get em. Trump stole boxes of sensitive material, knowing it was sensitive and likely valuable, and then lied about possessing it, repeatedly, and refused to cooperate and likely destroyed evidence to hide his obstruction. They aren’t remotely the same.

Trump pretends to be a man of god, has grifty evangelists touch his greasy head, posts images of himself as Jesus and claims God sent him to do His work, while attacking lady bishops and even the Pope himself. Joe Biden is a devoted Catholic who regularly attends services and respects the Church. Not the same things.

How is this even in Tulsi’s lane?

Since the future looks so bleak, the Rebs are living in the past. Or at least their version of it. Which is so stupid nobody would even make an Apple TV action flick from it.

There is a post-war fantasy they believe represents “the American dream,” mostly from the 1950’s. Where a man and woman marry, have 3 or more children, and the man goes to work from 9-5 while Mom stays home all day with multiple children, caring for them, while also having dinner ready at 6:00 for Dad.

I find the 1961 book Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates and the 2008 movie adaptation to be poignant counterpoints to that fantasy. Conformity, and what it does to suffocate people’s individuality, is what I take from it. So many young wives and mothers were deeply unhappy in the “role” that conservative conformity had cast them in, and often the husbands weren’t much happier.

Everyone should find their own path. Every person is writing their own story every day.

As a child of the 60s, I saw the fight for that dream on many fronts. The battle continues as the backlash gets harsher.

International coalition is right. The European Union wanted Shokin gone from his job. THe International Monetary Fund wanted him gone. The world bank wanted him gone. Various anti-corruption movements in Ukraine itself wanted him gone. Shokin's own deputy prosecutor general had resigned in protest at the rampant corruption in the department. If Joe Biden had in fact wanted to prevent or abort any investigation into Burisma, he logically should have wanted Shokin to remain in his job and continue doing what he was doing - precisely nothing.

Trump, of course, described Shokin as "very good" and "a tough prosecutor."

Liar as always.

If Tru,p really wanted to be a "peace maker" he should have given Ukraine the tomahawk missiles instead of wasting them on Iran.

Another case destined to be laughed out of the courts. Time for judges to start to censure lawyers or hold them for contempt of wasting their got damns time.

We need to distract form the Epstein files and the glaring fact that Trump's economic policies are a disaster. The attack on Iran accomplished that. Plus, get things fired up enough and maybe able to cancel, or at least postpone the midterms. "Sounds like a plan, Sir!!"

Gabbard: "It is always the right time to expose the truth to the American people."

World's biggest liars always make it a point to insist that what they say is "the truth."

So worried that Iran "Might" be able to develop nuclear weapons Did we forget that Trump's buddy in NK already has them, and is way crazier than the Ayatollahs

It strikes me that T thinks everyone will back down in the face of force and threats of retaliation (for example, that Iran would cave) and yet he himself does not back down from force and retaliation by others. The purest expression of his approach to the world is “you can’t stop me.”

Uhuh. Yeop.

I guess this edict came direct from the Kremlin. That's definitely not suspicious at all! Too bad a lot of Americans are perfectly fine with this...including the White House being a branch of Putin's government. Ah well as long as the libs are owned.

The Iran deal that Trump tossed out was working splendidly. First of all, Obama was not the chief architect, anymore than he was than PPACA was all his idea Just stick his name on something and the bigots crawl out from under their rocks and pile on! The "Obama Deal" "Obamacare, WE hate it!

We all know what they think. The deal got black on it.

Also had all of the permanent members of the UN Security Council on it Trump and his cohorts are doing their best to do away with all of the post WWII gains and drag the USA back to 1890 and the whole world into insane disarray. These people are the most destructive evil force that has ever existed! Everybody needs to stop treating him like a bad joke None of this is a laughing matter.

These indolent abominations of carbon continue their desperate efforts to smear and/or discover some breathtakingly egregious scandal involving President Biden, or indirectly by way of his son, Hunter.

Thus their overwhelming embarrassment continues...

I wonder which lolyer is on deck for the grand jury?

Fear/envy of Hunter's pron sized peen.
