My friends and I were just appalled by one thing: that that girl was jogging there in the middle of the night. It was incomprehensible. We had much less feeling about who the criminals were, because we were so shocked at why she;d done that, as a middle class person who could have run at a much safer time, and wasn't forced to run at all. And second was that she was almost beaten to death.
I meant, I sort of see, but not entirely, why we were so appalled at her behavior. She seemed to us like some Martian.
Wolman Rink-- that's the first I ever heard of him. We looked down at it and my husband said, 'donald trump fixed it after years of the city doing nothing.' Now I imagine someone else paid. Some poor people!! Some aid for some storm surge in Queens.
