I live in Tucson and we have a suburb called Green Valley where many retirees live in "active adult" planned communities. Last year Kolfage and Steve Bannon visited one of them to do their We Build the Wall, Inc., dog and pony show in a community room under the sponsorship of the community's Republican Club. The residents were encouraged to make donations and in return would have their piece of the wall "signed" with their name (or many names commensurate with how much was donated). It wasn't disclosed how much money they left town with but after that there was a lot of talk about We Build the Wall being kicked off Go Fund Me, where Kolfage started it. Also, the group is now being investigated by several state AGs because it is known they collected at least $20 million and no wall has been built. Kolfage says they aren't not working, they're "working in secret" because they are trying to avoid "being sued by liberal groups like the ACLU." Another brilliant scam brought to you by the Trump Crime Family.

I have actually been down to the border, in particular to the Big Bend area, and when I was there I seriously saw something that looked like it was right out of Stereotype Theatre.At a spot where the Rio Grande is so thin you can literally walk right across it, I saw a man cross over from Mexico wearing a sombrero and walking a burro.I learned that this was near a town on the Mexican side where this has been going on like forever, as people have family on both sides of the border.
The terrain in this area is such that a wall could not be easily built anywhere nearby, and basically no-one, including the pre-TrumpGestapo Border Partrol cared at all about it.
