Conservatives have tried producing rom coms, and the results were hilarious, for the wrong reasons. Right wing comedians are just trolls and bigots. Very few successful musicians are righties, except country singers. Plenty of country crooners are afraid of gay and trans people.
This “bipartisan” celebration of 250 years of Trump is like 16 days long? Isn’t that a little ambitious? Why do I feel like this is going to resemble that Stop the Steal symposium that Pillow Guy hosted back in 2021 or whenever when he offered $5 million to anyone who could prove his Chinese election data was junk and like 19 people showed up, most of them journalists? Trump couldn’t even host a military parade for himself for a couple hours without boring everyone. What do they plan to do for two weeks?
I can't decide if it's funnier that Lee Greenwood and Kid Rock aren't on the list because even they could tell what a shitshow it would be OR if they aren't on the list because they are such has-beens that they don't even merit an invite in the first place.
I've been puzzled by this too. What about Kid Rock? He's allegedly touring and he can't take a day out to play for his buddies at the WH? What about Ted Nugent? or Jason Aldean?? Aldean is so uber Trumpy, and I doubt he has any liberal fands. However, there is the matter of money. and that maybe the name bands like Aldean do not want to get stiffed. Even then ones who tow the right wing line of Trump maybe don't trust the guy to pay his bills.
