The church in question--First Assembly of God, Fort Myers, FL--had two Facebook pages yesterday, one of which featured a press release condemning media representation of the event and the most nauseatingly mealy-mouthed denial of responsibility notpology one might imagine. During the day though, the press release, along with both FB pages, was taken down. I am proud to say I was banned from both before they disappeared. However, I was able to leave a prayer request on the church's website http://www.famfm.com/prayer...
I hope both parents are charged with a crime & never ever work in healthcare,homecare or veterinary office. The horrific information of these idiot parents that have jobs in healthcare is beyond words.
I was not a big fan of "The Righteous Gemstones"--a little Danny McBride goes a long way for me these days--but Adam DeVine really pulled of that half-cheesy, half-sleazy, just-a-little-bit-too-old youth pastor vibe. They've always been like that in my lifetime, even the sane ones of my youth. In the 50's and 60's, they hammered the Democrats for being soft on commies, then lawnorder when the mid-60's civil unrest happened, on and on through terrorism, always The Other to be demonized as an enemy of the country being aided and abetted by the Democrats.
