Now some of them feel very strongly that their sworn oath includes ALL of the constitution. Some kind'a feel strongly about it; it depends upon how their home life is going. And some have a Cafeteria Approach where they crossed their fingers about the Judicial Branch, civil rights, search and seizure protection, and various amendments.

It was a similar issue that led to 2001 being the actual first year of both the second millennium and the 21st century. Year 1 was not the same thing as a year having already passed.
She has a very clear appeal path here and I hope a higher court slaps Ruben Gonzalez from one end of Texas to the other, and back again. I have to assume he's a conservative Cuban, because from my experience few other Hispanics are capable of that kind of pure heartlessness and lack of soul.
