There's a new meme going around: "Congress should investigate whether the Trump team has any ties to America."

Lich Hubert Humphrey would be a marked improvement.

"Oh, that's balls. Definitely balls."

Apparently, though, "slingers" were extremely well-trained, agile, practiced experts in "slinging" a rock extremely fast, with deadly aim.. David sent his shot directly at Goliath's head with the speed and accuracy of a major-league baseball pitcher--only with a rock, not a baseball. Goliath was huge and unable to get out of the way.

That is a thing of beauty!

Was just thinking.

My patience even with nice, soft sand beaches kinda wears thin, too, if they're crowded enough you can't walk along the edge of the water where the sand is relatively packed and the water cools you. Hot, dry, soft sand is kinda tiring, the way it soaks up footfalls. Makes some beaches more 'short walk' material...

... or dune buggy ride material. And I'd totally put _that_ in a personal, come to think of it: enjoys long dune buggy rides on the beach.

Wait, she can't sue the Presidnet for sexy times, because he's doin' Presidenistry? An' here I thought I remembered some woman named Gennifer Flowers that the Reptilians thought was ok for her to sue the Presidnetistry....

The president and his mouthpiece might find out very soon that pettifogging other private parties isn't quite the same as trying to bamboozle folks conducting a criminal investigation. The threat "See you in court" that Trump likes so much loses a lot of its punch when hurled at a state attorney general.

litigious-ass motherfuckersI think I've seen that porno.

Oh I see, all the weird contact with Russia is nothing more than Putin shopping for a good American lawyer and since Trump has been sued so many times he's a natural go to person for a recommendation. And all the money and such was just a finder's fee! Boy do I have egg on my face for suspecting there was something untoward with all the secrecy and lying to congress about it, it was just that his people really really take attorney/client privilege seriously.

Now if you'll excuse me, I"m going to help out this nice Nigerian prince, and then take advantage of this rare opportunity to purchase shares in the golden gate bridge.

And then the investigation into his publicly admitted obstruction of justice will begin. Also too I get the strange feeling that either 45 likes Flynn too much to throw him under a bus or he's too important a player for Putin to allow that to happen.

The whole idea is that once the GOP (and media) get anything they can remotely construe as "we now resume regular programming", anything Democrats do can be filed under "which hunt". They're such shameless hypocrites because it works.

As for Trump or Putin "liking" anyone, they're purely transactional. Even Melania admits she's got her own reasons for enduring Trump. Being thrown under the bus at some point is part of the deal with these people. It's just a race to see who gets to be the thrower.

at least there shouldn't be any conflict of interest problems representing Russia banks and Trump at the same time - of course American interests are of no concern here -

Oh I do understand how it works, and usually it doesn't matter, when the time comes you throw someone under the bus to save your skin no matter how much it hurts the last vestige of empathy but remember, this is Donny. 45 has gone through life utterly convinced the rules don't apply to him and occasionally this belief swings the other way. He could very well believe he doesn't need to throw Flynn under a bus because he's Donald Trump and he can do this without sacrificing Flynn, could even believe that Flynn is the one the Democrats are really after and not want to give them the satisfaction. Now it's only a possibility, he could just as easily do the normal thing and throw Flynn under a bus but I hope the Democrats are ready to capitalize if he does something insanely stupid.

There is a reason the rest of the business community detests Trump, and it's not because he's gritty or unpleasant, these are things business people don't care about.

Apologies if this is mentioned below, but Marc Kasowitz is also Bill O'Reilly's lawyer. Oh, it's just too delicious.
