When will Biden fired DeJoy?

My workplace sends out specialized calendars to the community we serve every year. They were mailed in Dec as always. People are finally beginning to receive them this freaking week - nearly 3 months late.

May Louis DeNoJoy spend an eternity eating deep-fried rat dicks, never knowing whether the next bite will be completely unseasoned or over-salted to the point of toxicity. And with no water to wash them down.

I retired in Germany and still have access to the US mail system. Not to disagree with anything you said necessarily, but I sent in my annual voter registration (it's annual for expats) the first week in January and don't expect acknowledgement by mail until the first week in March. I am also waiting for my one credit union that does tax information only by mail, likely to arrive around the same time.

That's slower than the pony express, dude.

It's an option. Feel free to put up with the shitty treatment you are getting now, but it's unlikely to get better any time soon.

I just hate the philosophy that the Post Office needs to make money, or even pay for itself. It is a fucking government service! Does the Army need to pay for itself? “We’ll be right there to defend you from the Communist hoard Europe, as soon as you give us your credit card number.” Or how about Education? “Little Timmy is doing great this year, but he’ll do even better if you take advantage of our $299 ‘Learn to Read’ special!”

Forcing the PO to be self-supporting is just one more way we hide “taxes” from the rubes. You want services? Fucking pay for them up-front, don’t try to mask them by calling them “fees.”

USPS is supposed to make public its performance reports.

To get that info out of DeJoy, people have had to resort to lawsuits and FOIA filings. The man is a disgusting slimeball through and through, and should be not just fired, but prosecuted.

I mean no malice. You are happy with your choices, so am I.

The thing is USPS is self-supportive, if you'd get rid of the bullshit rule about it having to keep a gigantic pension reservoir on hands at all times (beyond what is actually needed). It's why conservatives have been undermining it for decades--private delivery services just can't compete with how reliable USPS is.

The Soviet-era charge of destroyinng state assets seems appropriate for the inappropriately grinning Sec. DeJoye. Twenty years hard time should do it. Unless Mr. de Joye has an interesting and true story to tell us.....

They are now switching to a new service. They take your package, give you an expected delivery date, gladly take extra money for 2 day parcel express, and shitcan it in a warehouse. I'm coming up on two weeks for a package that never left IL. Another is parked in SC. Both made it to their local distribution center. I guess "distribution center" means a raiders of the lost ark style storage area.

I don't know why he still has his job and it's high time he was brought up on criminal charges.

Just arrest his ass.

He's doing a pretty amazing job of eliminating mail delivery.

Last month I drew late charges on three out of my four major utility bills (yes, I am an old fud who still pays his bills by mail.) Rang up late fees on phone, cable and credit-card bills in the middle of January (so no Xmas rush or election bottleneck,) having mailed them all at least two weeks before the due dates--and at least two of the three were sent to addresses in my home state. Hell, I coulda driven them there in about two hours! Fill up that damn Postal Board, Handsome Joe, and git that worthless slug of a postmaster outa there!
