Actually, Jean Pierre has displayed courage and intelligence on many occasions. Remembering an incident involving Kamala Harris and an unknown person approaching her onstage in what could have been a dangerous situation. C-Tucker never had such courage....

Didn't have time to read the article, was it because she said she won't be having daily briefings and not really do her job? Or just because her very first statement to the press will be a lie, like telling them that Joe Biden had the largest crowd at his inauguration ever?

Various members of my grad student union during my PhD, which had more than its fair share of leftier-than-thou types, as well as plenty of wonderful people capable of being leftists while also able to discuss the ways in which Marx and/or Bakunin were problematic. So I'm gonna say a cross section because I have no interest in going down a rabbit hole.

Also, apropos of nothing, my local DSA chapter was Twitter-famous for a hot minute due to a polycule comprised of almost the entire executive board covering up for a sexual abuser. While I believe polycules are no less valid than any other relationship format, and the chapter cleaned house out of necessity, it was a solid reminder that no political affiliation is immune from abuses of power.

Yes, the system, which the Revolution is supposed to abolish. Any idea when it's supposed to happen? My Polish and Ukrainian Jewish forebears have been waiting since about 1890 or so.
