I don't hunt or fish and have never owned a dog.

I'm also a woman.

I do have a lot of cats. I don't trust them, though. They're cats.

Tucker's gonna run for President. He has the $ and ego and it won't violate whatever his buyout agreement is with Fox News. He hates Trump. He (like Ron, Tim, Nicki, et al) are all waiting for Trump to finally get indicted and exit the stage. Hate to say it, he would be formidable. He can spew pablum like the best of them. He's relatively young.

Except Trump won't give up the nomination without a fight. The Presidency is his only Get Out of Jail Free card he has left. And he will argue that he can't be indicted (or at least can't serve any time) as a candidate as it's a form of "selective enforcement" and "political witch hunt". Now before all the armchair and real lawyers weigh in - hear me out: Trump don't care and he doesn't need your silly "laws". He will find a friendly federal judge (we've seen those) that will agree with him. It will get appealed to a friendly SCOTUS who will pull something out of their arse to agree with it. Something, something he gets to run and btw if he wins you can't send him to jail.

Okay, so he runs, but the GOP voters finally figure out they need to pick another candidate (Tucker). Trump starts to look like he won't win the nomination (or there will be a brokered convention). So - Trump goes 3rd party. But getting on ballots is hard. That's okay just find a current also-ran party that's already on ballots - Libertarian it is! Now this is wishful thinking as Biden would coast to victory and the GOP schism would have them go the way of the Whigs.

If it has "gone down" why do I still constantly see links to Twitter posts everywhere?

"The notion that Carlson could build a significant video business on Twitter, he said, was “stupid.”But Matt Walsh thinks it's a good idea"

Which confirms it's stupid.

It'll be interesting to see just how much right wing posturing the remaining Twitter advertisers can take, that's for sure.

The entertainment will start if Tucker gets secure enough at Twitter, to start stealing attention from Musk.

Rupert Murdoch PREFERS staying out of the limelight, and had absolutely no problem with Tucker being the Face of Fox. Musk is as narcissistic an attention addict as Tucker.

At some point Tucker will start thinking *he's* Mr. Twitter, and then the shit will hit the fan. I look forward to it.
