Jan Brewer may be back on her meds, but the Arizona Legislature is just as full of scum and villainy as ever. Thursday, the state's hero lawmakers took a stand for the freedom to be a bigot, passing a law that would allow businesses to refuse service to customers whenever doing so might violate their religious beliefs, essentially inviting discrimination against gays. Now the bill goes to Gov. Brewer, who hasn't given any indication whether she'll sign it (she vetoed a similar bill last year). Let's hope we were right about the meds.

Let's start a petition to move the Grand Canyon out of Arizona! (By redistricting, or something, obvs) If we do it carefully enough, we might be able to eliminate Walnuts McCain's base. That would be a fitting tribute to the man who inflicted Caribou Barbie on an unsuspecting lower forty-eight.
Just a quick update- Rocco's is swamped. They are literally being overwhelmed by people showing their support and trying to buy a pie there. I was going to pick up a pie, but I only have a 2 hour break and it probably wouldn't happen in that time. It's not all Arizona n's who are bigots, mostly just the Bible thumpers in the Phoenix metro area and rural areas. There are also multiple protests happening all over the state. This may blow up in their faces big time- couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of racist assholes
Papa John's founder claimed if he provided healthcare he'd have to raise the price of a large pizza by 80 cents or something! Better to have your pie coughed on by a sick employee I guess.
