My only hope is that Biden is up the challenge of the upcoming election, and if he is and wins, he is up to the future challenge of allowing AG Harris prosecute Barr, Stone, Bannon, Flynn, ......long...long list to the fullest extent of the law. He also must have the balls to allow AG Harris to prosecute Trump.

These people must pay for what they have done and we must make sure it never happens every again.

Good. Hope he internalizes this very thoroughly.

Cool. Glad to know he's accepted his defeat and will leave quietly.

So I'm finally coming to understand that Bill Barr actually thinks the U.S. President should be afforded all the rights and privileges of a king. The Theory of Unitary Executive Power is a fancy term for "Let's Make Feudalism Great Again."

He hasn't done his job in three and a half years. Why start now?

NYT today mentions in passing that DJTJ is considering running for president in 2024. The interesting thing is that they printed this news without a wordless and protracted scream.

It's incredible how much Barr can discredit and disregard a guilty plea in federal court. I've been asked to do some bullshit in my career, but writing a memo to the bossman as to why a person who has entered guilty pleas in court is actually "innocent", and how to prevent guilty people from entering guilty pleas in the future was never on the list,

Someone yesterday brought up the idea of a truth and reconciliation committee. I think that's an excellent idea. People fess up and tell the whole truth or face prosecution.

I read the transcript of Bill Barr's NPR interview (see the last question) and it sure sounds to me - his non-answer answer - as though he's planning on weaponizing the Durham report for the election. Ugh.

Not when Obama was president. Can you imagine Bill Barr as Obama’s AG?

Do you want to give the sarlacc a heart attack? That is how you give the sarlacc a heart attack.

Unlikely. It was only the elites, like the priests, who needed Greek in order to talk with the Roman occupiers. Or merchants might have known a smattering of Greek or Latin.
