Nixon (and Kissinger) are still to this day killing people in Southeast Asia with un-exploded cluster bombs that continue to lie in wait for farmers and children who happen to find them.
What was the motive behind this rush to execute in the last few months of Biff's reign of error? They didn't execute anyone for nearly four years and suddenly there was this urgency to kill as many prisoners as they could.
Nixon was handed a Vietnam situation that had been badly handled by 3 previous administrations.
Trump was the man in the position to unite the country and institute steps to minimize the number of America lives lost. Instead he choose to not just essentially ignore, but actually make things worse, because his feelings were hurt by the thought of COVID making him look bad.
I’m not absolving Nixon of any responsibility for his actions in Vietnam, but he was a part of a bipartisan fuck up that spanned over a decade. The COVID tragedy is Trump’s fuck up alone.
We hear a lot about federal prosecutors. Oh, he or she was or is a federal prosecutor. They must be at the top of the legal field and icons of virtue.
Exhibit A, Bill Barr. Exhibit B, Bruce Castor and before we run out of exhibits for incompetent, corrupt or both federal prosecutors we need to change the exhibits from letters to numbers because the numbers would be astounding.
It offers a different perspective on things when one remembers the Former Resident fully expected his coup to succeed. Imagine what we might be witnessing now if it had (or if it does).
That's what I don't get. If he really thought he was going to stay in office, why the rush? And why did he wait until year four to start killing people?

Time for Senator Porter, Senator Swalwell, or Senator Schiff.(Off the top of my head.)

Well I certainly am. She lost me when she rhapsodized over Coathanger's children and snuggled with Linseed.
Black and Decker isn't so bad, but their batteries are for shit. I'll never buy another cordless anything from them again.
