> “President Trump succeeded in putting so much fear in this new regime that they were willing to come to the table,” said Griff Jenkins.
President Obama got them to the table too. And left that table with a signed agreement (which TFG doesn't have). Which includes weapons inspections (which I am highly doubtful TFG will be able to get). And *didn't* waste the lives of American soldiers, Iranian civilians, billions of dollars in US munitions, and billions (trillions?) of dollars in Iranian infrastructure.
I'm not wavering in my $upport of Wonkette, because of the gifs of kitties and birds and such, and because you all seem like very nice people who are trying hard. But I am pretty much done with news analysis, and with about 95% of the so-called factual reporting on what this motherfucker says.
Everything sucks, and it will keep sucking until at least the day he leaves the WH, or keels over, and probably beyond, and even then we will be badly informed and subject to a constant assault of opinion by professionals who miss the point (again, present company largely excepted).
I already deleted all of my social media accounts. I like to read the arts, culture, recipes, and First Dog on the Moon in The Guardian. I have four browser windows open following the Artemis II mission, and when that's over there's the women's rugby Six Nations tournament to stream.
Just replace "Islam with Christianity" and you see not much difference between our current administration and the regime in Iran "Authoritarian Theocracies" are the same no matter what religion they are based upon.
The world may be laughing at TACO Two Weeks, but he is reaching the only goal he had for the Iran invasion or, for that matter, anything he’s ever done in his “adult” life:
In the unlikely event that the US does get a share, where will the money go? A) pay down the national debt. B) refund the Pentagon accounts used for the war so no US taxpayer dollars are directly spent on this excursion. Or C) directly into Trump and friends pockets.

A school full of little girls died because two men continually raped children. What kind of world is this?

But reading the headlines? Fuck off. I'm done.
So when will he get the Nobel Peace Prize?
Two weeks.
I still blame the Brits, Between the way they chopped up the former Ottoman land and the Mandate for Palestine, they set all of this in motion!
As a person of Irish extraction, it's never a bad time to blame the Brits. They are usually in on it.
Masters of exploitation and corruption, but the shit never seems to stick to them
Just saw this headline on NYTimes.com:
After 5 Weeks of War, a Look at What Trump Has Accomplished in Iran
I swear to gawd, if I could be promised that a click would reveal a totally blank page with just the masthead, I would subscribe to that paper again.
Did Hic!Seth do well?

Bangin' article, thanks. Would that our journos were that aggressive in their reporting.
Drunk again? So early in the day?
I”m tired.
At this point I just want to buy him a giant bag of Big Macs and hope for the worst.
Ol Two Dolls must have gotten some “come to Allah” talking to.
Even Fucker Carlson went Yosemite Sam on his ass.
FUCKER FUCKING CARLSON!!!
“Total and complete victory. 100 percent. No question about it,” said Trump...
WELCOME TO THE GOLDEN AGE BITCHES.
This is some of that "winning" we were promised!
What he meant was "NO QUESTIONS ABOUT IT!"
Surprised he didn't go with 600%.
That part will come later. In the 12th or 15th retelling of the same story...
"This was the greatest conflict the world has ever seen and I negotiated peace!"
Just replace "Islam with Christianity" and you see not much difference between our current administration and the regime in Iran "Authoritarian Theocracies" are the same no matter what religion they are based upon.
“Big Money! No Whammies!”
God, what an idjit.
"Well, this isn't working out, So what's Plan B to get those midterms canceled? We're going to get crushed!" - The GOP
The world may be laughing at TACO Two Weeks, but he is reaching the only goal he had for the Iran invasion or, for that matter, anything he’s ever done in his “adult” life:
“Big money will be made”
Guess those Trump Bibles haven't been raking in the cash.
World class grifting!!
"Double sided ceasefire"?!?!?
Hey genius, if only one side agrees to it, then it's not actually a ceasefire, uumkay?
Called this last night:
"We're thinking of doing it as a joint venture...also securing it from lots of other people."
Trump, speaking to Jonathan Karl this morning about collecting tolls in the Strait of Hormuz.
Are the Iranians really gonna share? Probably not but everything is just another big grift with this guy.
In the unlikely event that the US does get a share, where will the money go? A) pay down the national debt. B) refund the Pentagon accounts used for the war so no US taxpayer dollars are directly spent on this excursion. Or C) directly into Trump and friends pockets.
Trump's friends? Fuck them, they didn't bring peace to the region!
Wry "ha-ha"....
Ever open the statement and discover "additional processing fee(s)" which took a chunk from you?
That's going to be Oman very soon.
I thought the same thing: Iran's not gonna share but Oman? They don't have a choice.
