I saw some dude saying that Dems shouldn't refer to "Bidenomics" when it's just economics. I might have paid a bit more attention to his thesis had he not gone on to say that "we" shouldn't have christened health care reform as "Obamacare". I mean, if he can't even be bothered to remember that it was the Right that started calling it that as a way of deriding it (and still use it that way), why should I be bothered to read anything else that yahoo had to say?

We just got a health insurance premium hike of 10% which essentially negates the COL adjustment we got in June for many people at the office.

Can Bidenomics please please please do something to reign in greedy insurance companies? Can we pretty please start negotiating single payer again one of these decades?

Ha! I bet he's even talking about bringing actual jobs to the state, not fake Foxconn jobs.

Oh, and about that new road we're getting? They are paving right now. They started on Saturday. It rained all day yesterday. I swear to doG, there has been the very minimum of traffic since they started because gravel, even on the weekends with the out-of-staters come up for the weekend. But on Saturday, everyone in the state had to drive down the road while the road crew was trying to pave. And when they quit paving around 2:00 PM traffic died off again completely. That shit completely annoyed the fuck out of me.

For fuck's sake, assholes. Let them do their job.

Joe needs to do a 50 states, 50 days tour to tout his accomplishments and throw mud in the eye of those who are taking credit while voting against everything.

Hillary doing a wonderful interview with Rachel last night and Biden out there today touting his economic accomplishments. Maybe the Obamas could do a nice celebratory BBQ from their beachfront home in the Vineyard tonight at sunset, just to top things off.

OT but genuinely hilarious:

“I would tell DeSantis the hard truth. In my 40 years in presidential politics, I have never seen a worse campaign and candidate. He should withdraw from the race.”

“You have a total charisma-vacuum of a candidate running on a niche message that only makes any sense—let alone appeals—to the very worst people on the planet. If he wants to win, he should try being an entirely different person.”

Notice the contrast--Biden spending his time talking about improving the quality of life for Americans, Trump yet again focused on his own criminal troubles. You can bet any Republican with a brain wave is looking at this and wishing someone would take Trump from them (with extreme prejudice) because there's no way this looks good with swing voters, and yet it's unlikely to change over the next year.

You'll have to get rid of him yourself, folks. One way or another.

And not just that, he's hollowed out the party along the way.

The selection of primary candidates makes the 2016 crop look like statesmen and mensa members. And those guys were a bunch of fuckwits and inbred window lickers.

If Trump dropped dead of a massive heart attack tomorrow, the GOP would still be fucked. Possibly even more fucked.

There is just...something...about the sight of OHJB on a stage with a bunch of heavy industrial equipment that makes me happy. Is it the heavy metal ambiance? Is it the union made label on all that equipment? I don't know what it is but putting OHJB on stage with heartland industrial product just makes me happy.
