Yes, that's got me wondering too. Here in the Granite State you have rock, rock, and more rock. You want a basement? Bring on the dynamite. How difficult can it be to dig in the Great Plains?

Hate to go against the grain, but last I checked, Montana forests weren't exactly "dying".

Yes, we have had some big fire years, and the Pine Beetle continues to be a problem, but by and large, our immense forest lands are not "dying".
