Many rotten things can be possible at the same time. Stevens' decision is terrible and El-Sayed disinviting his primary rival from a Dem "unity event" is bad. All I keep saying to undecided people today is that it will be easier to deal with one bad Senator than a MAGA Senate. All they had to both do was keep their mouths shut in public for a couple more days.....
I am thinking that El-Sayed disinviting Stevens must have been precipitated by bad behavior on her part or on the part of her fiance. Throughout this election cycle, El-Sayed has proved himself to be a very astute politician in dealing with the anti-muslim-white-outsider animosity he has received. So when he disinvited her, I believe it was because she was threatening some sort of disruption.

It went from “processing at UPS facility” in Port Allen, Louisiana—less than ten miles away—to “departed facility” in Middletown, PENNSYLVANIA at 7:50pm last night. Called customer service for an explanation, and some guy in Asia told me to wait until November 5. The package, the rep told me, was being sorted.
They don’t know where my package is. Apparently half the scans were “logical” scans, not physical ones. Which tells me they have no idea at all where my package actually is or why it showed up in Pennsylvania.

I'm firmly on the conspiracy train that Chris Murphy's stroke is suspicious until proven otherwise. Why ever not? Trump is capable of rape and he's capable of murder IMO. And yet Moscow Mitch lives.

I suspect it's probably real. The difference between Murphy and Mitch (who probably had some sort of stroke) is age and medication. My guess is that Murphy will be back in Congress in a few weeks.
