It was also in Handmaid’s Tale, before Gilead took over.

That was the cheese, I bet. I had “pizza” flavored Jelly Belly jellybeans once and I suspect the attempt at making it taste like cheese was in them was why they tasted exactly like puke.

Watch the documentary, "No Greater Law." Cult leaders supported by Idaho legislators have 'religious exemptions' to cover horrific child abuse, such as 'holy oil' treatments (where bacteria-laden hands 'bless' the 'holy' oil and turn it white with bacteria, then it's ready to use and pour into some poor victim's open wounds).

All up in our lady parts again, I see! I guess universities are no longer centers of learning, just pawns in an evil game of "gothcha!" brought on by hysterical and misinformed right-wing politicians and scary lawyers.

Glad my Idaho relatives by marriage are all gone to hell so I don't need to go there.

So I'm guessing there aren't a lot of people volunteering for things in ID?

So one of the ways to be against abortion is to be against birth control? Um, gee, there's something that maybe they need to be told about.....

This is not a new thing. They've been fighting tooth and nail against comprehensive sex ed since forever, even though both common sense and studies show that the best way to reduce the number of abortions performed is through, you guessed it, comprehensive sex ed and widespread availability of birth control.

I am a (gulp) 60 year old woman who works at a University with student workers. We talk about our cats, our weekends, our lunches, and sometimes more. Those more conversations are private conversations that I make sure never cross certain boundaries because of HR but I also make sure that these students know that if they need someone to talk to I would be there for them - not as a co-worker but as a friend(ish) person. I am lucky, I am in a blue state. If one of them needed me to take them to a clinic for a test or procedure, I would be there for them, because everyone needs someone to hold their hand. And they are so fucking young. They need this information so much and tying the hands and mouths of faculty that could teach these young people goes against everything that Universities meant were to do.

If she has comprehensive insurance, her ob/gyn can do a quick D&C, and insurance will cover it.

It takes another 36 weeks from being denied an abortion at 6 weeks to produce a baby. Everyone just elides over the actual gestation, going from conception to post-partum. 9 months, people. 9 danger filled months, followed by labor. If you live.Anti-rights people erase actual women from a pregnancy. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...
