It is not really anarchy because the judges and courts must agree with the bounty hunters to deprive the woman and accomplices of their ten grand plus legal fees (each).

I just looked it up and I see what you mean. Democrats were definitely the majority during FDR's terms. I don't know what kind of Democratic reps and senators he had to deal with but it would appear that his threat was perhaps credible enough. I can always hope that 2022 turns things around and this will probably happen if Democrats vote.

Apart from the hollowness of any packing threats, I do think doing so would get roberts's attention. No matter the bastard he is, I think he does not want the court to fall apart on his watch.

Not just babies, the current goal of self-identified conservatives is a total takeover of politics, the judiciary, the economic and the moral thermostat of the nation. How that happens legal/quasi-legal/illegal is irrelevant. That it happens is paramount. They will stop at nothing.

My brother and his wife live in OKC. I've been to the Memorial multiple times, and have been to the Museum. (If you're ever remotely close, both are worth going out of your way to see.)

Four people were tried because that's as many provably had a nexus to the crime. Sure, there were other members of the gang, but white people militia, but they couldn't prove involvement.

I'm about 40, and was in HS in the mid- to late-'90s. We didn't have a class called "Civics" per se, but a one-semester "US Government" class, which was pretty much as you describe, was a requirement for graduation. (Not sure if that was just for the school district, or a Texas state requirement.)

I've been in awe how stupid America is and continues to be by voting for Republicans.

I used to catch the bus to work right outside the memorial. I walked through it every morning on my way from one bus to the other. I was in school the morning of it and remember hearing the sound of it from 5 miles away.

Eh, your probably right... besides, selective anarchy is probably exhausting!

When I say I'm an "anarchist", I really mean I'm a "bitchy white guy who wants the gubment to stay out of some of my business!"

"Hell, I think we should pass a law to ban all ejaculation that doesn't happen pursuant to a notarized agreement to procreate."

Wait, wouldn't that technically ban masturbation? I can't get onboard with that.
