One of my friends from high school attempted to firebomb the local planned parenthood, because his ex-lover got an abortion (she had to go out of state for it, since he got a restraining order, so it wasn't even that particular clinic, which didn't perform that procedure in any event).
1983 (or thereabouts; it was a long time ago). I'm not convinced that the crazy is deeper or that there are more crazies. Maybe so, but ... I'd want to see statistics rather than anecdotes (like my anecdote above).
