I agree. People are complacent because we don't see people hopping around on crutches because of polio, and because kids don't end up in sanitoriums with TB.
What about MY health. I've never had any kind of measles. What about MY health being exposed to mouth breathing brats sired and born to people who should not be allowed to drive an automobile or reproduce.
I had a high-school teacher who walked around with aluminum canes. Turns out he had come through a bout of polio with damage to his leg-controlling nerves. Vaccines have changed a lot of things, and not that long ago. I'm not saying that vaccines aren't being under-used, reducing their efficacy. But we have fewer and fewer natural predators. Birth control is becoming more and more important, provided we survive the coming apocalypse. Nature will have her way. Defy her at... everyone's risk.He was a great teacher, by the way.
I think they are just so stupid that the church, can shame them into hating it by insinuating that it has to do with sex. Fooling the ignorant into thinking it is contraceptive in function. They already lie about contraceptives being abortifacients.
The memory should stick with her - mine has. I memorize poetry for the fun of it, too. As I've gotten older and have more stuff in my head my memory doesn't feel as good as it did when I was a kid and could devote my whole brain to learning "The Raven". But it's still pretty impressive - I work with a lot of construction codes and can often quote passages from them verbatim. Freaks people out in meetings... I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, it's going to take the death -by-preventable-childhood-disease of some high-profile anti-vax parents' children to turn this around.
God I wish small pox would come back. That would shut em up.
Yes, if only being a shitty person, based on a twisted version of an equally badly edited book,* was fatal more often, with votes.
*Offer does not apply to nice people of any religion.
Precisely.
They think that dying of cervical cancer is a just punishment for having sex outside of a heterosexual Christian marriage.

Why? Some people legit can't get certain vaccinations. Even the CDC says that:

NO NO NO to "unless..."
They despise all truth. It's a requirement to be a republican. I don't know any dems who think home schooling is holy and that vaccines are evil.
No - they are so stupid they believe they can pray away the murderous diseases,
Like I said earlier - unvaccinated germ-spreaders should not be allowed in public - ever.
What about MY health. I've never had any kind of measles. What about MY health being exposed to mouth breathing brats sired and born to people who should not be allowed to drive an automobile or reproduce.
Unvaccinated brats should not be allowed to go out in public. Ever.
