Yeah, that's why McConnell was sooooooo desperate to git rid of corporations covid19 related liability. Because covid19 is real and can really affect your employees and customers. Republicans are absolutely masters at believing multiple contradictory things.
Update, vaccine hesitancy is so high in the county, that they are no longer doing the county-run vaccine clinic. They told us we'd have to schedule my son through a pharmacy or Dr office. The pharmacies are still requiring 16 or older , so my wife just lied to Walgreens and said he's 16. Appointment is on Thursday. 🤞
You left out the best part of the NPR report — how with a vaccine kids can finally get back to all their favorite activities like book clubs, sports and sleep-away camp! As a mother of 16 and 13 year old boys, I have been DYING to get them back in their BOOK CLUBS! 16 gets his second dose on Sunday so little brother is going to be JEALOUS of all the book clubbing 16 will be able to do!
Is that really a thing? I hate people. But I'm the girl that ended a friendship over my former friend's treatment of a dog-she called and said I'm taking this dog to the shelter tonight if I can't bring him to your house. I said bring him over and never spoke to her again.
I'm not worried about my almost 13-year-old getting covid. But, like most kids, she's been extraordinarily diligent about wearing masks and only seeing her friends outside. I'm excited to get her vaccinated so she can spend the summer catching up with friends, relaxing and not worrying about spreading the virus. She sacrificed so much to keep her grandparents and other high-risk people safe.
Ha! Define 'a few.'

My favorite part of that is that she made holes in her shirt herself so she could wear something glam to get the vaccine.
That's what we are hoping
He never developed them due to a compromised immune system.
Sorry to hear about that

Where have you been reading that?

I got my Pfizer shots at Walgreens and it is all very much self-reported info. They couldn't care less about a little fibbing.
If this is what it takes to get people that refuse to vaccinate to wear masks and avoid crowds, then fine.
Sadly, it appears to be a thing. I don't know how widespread but enough to be disturbing.
A little white lie for the greater good.
