Once I forgot to bring my cheat sheet of judicial picks on election day. What to do? I voted ‘no’ on all of them ‘cause I wasn’t going home to pick up the list. Too lazy “busy.”

Now between mail-in voting and the Interwebz, there’s no excuse for an ill-informed vote.

Remember that judges are lawyers—it takes a really bad judge to get a low rating from a local bar association—they’re full of lawyers also too.

Despite this, my county manages to see the occasional crummy judge reelected anyway. One was removed from the bench right after reelection, no less.

This ain’t a drill....
