Considering what it would be like living with a baby hippo after it has grown puts me in mind of a hilarious story in the WSJ some years ago at the first flush of the Vietnamese pot-bellied pig craze. Apparently some scammers were passing off baby hogs as VPBPs and, when they grew up, you would find yourself cornered in the kitchen by a 350-pound hog demanding a biscuit (or words to that effect). I think one's former baby pygmy hippo would be much the same.
