WE are their government. If it's federal aid, WE are supposed to have sent people to distribute it. It's like if the Federal Govt sent supplies to a poor, devastated area of Louisiana but told no one where they were and sent no one to distribute it, organize it, or help. Sent two people from a small town in North Dakota to do all the power restorage for the entire state. Kind of like what happened in Katrina. It's the Federal Gov't that's at fault.

the colonial history have taught Puerto Ricans that nothing that happen in the Island is done without an order from the continental US - so there is a sinister reason behind those warehouses (the majority administered by FEMA- FEMA knew about them as well)

Puerto Ricans shouldn’t have to depend on their cousins living in Florida to make their voices heard. It’s well past time we either made them a state so they had real representation in Congress and three EC votes or let them declare independence, whichever their residents vote for.

I would have agreed before Trump. But his and the Republicans policies and treatment of Puerto Rico have gone a long way to change views. And Puerto Ricans are VERY politically active and aware.

When they're done with that device, is there a chance we may borrow it? Symbolically, of course.
