Who was that ad even intended for? Did they think the race was so close that they needed to reach that small but critical demographic of soccer-moms-who-stand-by-their-sexually-abusive-boyfriends? For fuck's sake

The state AG of New Mexico is bringing charges against J*ffrey E**stein and his accountant.

Oh yeah!

The state governments are doing better than the feds right now, of course, because the feds are in the hands of the Devil.

He might not get elected Governor of Ohio, but that just means SNL will be able to book its first guest host of 2027.

Vance is in Ohio to support the Ramaswamy campaign, which is in hot water for an ad in which they promote a woman who sided with her husband after he was arrested for raping her 12-year-old daughter.

For his intro song, they chose ... Jerry Lee Lewis, who famously married his 13-year-old cousin.

I hate this patriarchy. Raped at 12 by a man who was never punished. Now it's like she's being raped again by another man for his gain. And it's just like business as usual. Ramasmarmy isn't even embarrassed. Fuck him with a rusted chainsaw. Also, too, fuck his stupid hair and his stupid money.

A judge in New Mexico ordered social media giant Meta to pay a $25 billion judgment Wednesday over millions of violations of consumer protections laws, a penalty the state’s attorney general said appeared to be the largest of its kind ever issued.

The judgment extends state Attorney General Raúl Torrez’s winning record against the company, following victories earlier this year in child safety cases. Torrez (D) said the result should send a message to other tech companies that his office will hold them accountable.

“Today’s judgment from a state which, admittedly, is not very big in terms of population, should be a clear warning to everyone in Big Tech,” Torrez said at a news conference.

While the judgment is almost certain to be appealed, it is larger than the $18 billion settlement Meta agreed to in August to resolve child safety allegations brought by states.

Meta did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

They'll appeal, of course, but imagine if this happened in all 50 states.

I hope someone does a piece on the BS "women's health" EO that Melania and Dump did a thing about the other day.

It focuses on pro-natalist bullshit while undermining Biden's directives on actual women's health (or a more comprehensive focus on women's health, not just reproduction and how women can BENEFIT MEN!).

HULK FUCKING SMASH ALL THE THINGS.

One relatively well-known Republican, Neil Bush, announced that he voted for Talarico. In part because of the tidal wave of anti-trans ads in TX.

The comments on the WSJ article about the ramasmarmy ad are 95% negative about the ad. The WSJ readership isn't known for it's liberalism (going for understated here). And a couple of commenters who tried to defend the ad got slammed by other readers.

Moral of the story seems to be that these hate-lifestyle-protect-pedo ads are going to blow up in the GOP face. I am predicting that ramasmarmy has moved his race against Dr. Acton from close to overwhelmingly in Dr. Acton's favor. Of course we will have to wait a week and a half to find out if I'm right.
