Funny how everything they claim is "literally terrorism" is what they say they are going to do (only more violent and in support of a fascistic ideology).
"Maybe by Friday they will have forgotten the whole thing"
This is the correct answer. You see this every time the right-wing lunatics start yelling "boycott!" about anything. They get high on the rage-bait and MAYBE some of them will actually boycott whatever the thing is. But they don't have the stamina and they can't sustain that anger, especially if they aren't getting any attention for it.
Basically, if you are Walmart, you just treat them like a child having a tantrum. Which is what they are.
Great, cue another round of buying and burning objects from their new hate fixation to “own” us. Now with a topping of pizza gate basement adrenochrome sauce. How they do not suffer what passes for their brains falling out all over the place while they struggle to remember to mouth breathe is a mystery science may never solve, it seems.
Last winter I had to stop at Walmart. I did not see anyone selling children, but there was someone selling bowls of soup. It did smell good, but I grew up in the days of "people put razor blades in apples at Halloween" and "that house down the street where the hippies live is injecting LSD into the snickers", so I way too paranoid to eat soup sold by some rando from the trunk of their car in a Walmart parking lot.
All that fear mongering is less than a one in a billion chance, yet people give up on community anyway. Man, we are all really bad at estimating risks.
Even at 1 in a billion, the odds suck. I could go to a restaurant and pay maybe a little more and get a bowl of soup with several orders of magnitude less risk or buy a can of soup while I am in Walmart or buy some ingredients and make my own.
The advantage of the later 3 is that if the odds turned out to be against me, there is an entity with money for my estate to sue. The rando selling soup from a car is probably untraceable and even if they were found, they have no resources to sue for since they a re selling soup from their car.
"The views represented here are solely by Christy Walton." Well, actually, no. You'll find millions and millions more with these specific views. A "majority" it's called.
how assuming. im nor racist and i still cant tolerate woke. but then again theyre not known for tolerating anything but their own fascist socialist agenda.
She seems goofy but mostly well-meaning? Nobody should be a billionaire, but if we have them, "goofy but well-meaning" is better than "dweebish nazi ketamine freak".
I shall put out my "Ten off the Top" tax proposal: If someone controls more than $10B in gross assets, they shall be taxed either 10% of it or the top 10lbs of themselves. It is their choice but in either case, it is "10 off the top"
I would seriously like to see someone with $10B explain how having only $9B would a hardship.
You could tax 90% and they would be fine. 99%? Still fine with 100 million. 99.99%? Now they can only keep one of their homes. So let's be lenient and tax those with $10B or more no more than 99.9%
In fact, let's set up a tiered system:
99% tax on above $1B, for each digit they get extra add a 9 behind the comma.
100M gets taxed at 80%
10M gets taxed at 60%
1M 40%
Taxes only apply to the amount above the limit. Sounds like a plan, right? Everyone can have a <$1M house or other property tax free, but if your house is $1 000 001, then you're paying 40 cents in property taxes.
supporting foreign acts of war on our soil, real american, but real americans are done with liberals.

I kinda feel sorry for him! > Herman Cain (RIP)
Wait, did he die again?
Yeah, from COVID and IIRC, he got at some Trump event/rally.
I knew he died, but kckitty's comment made me think they dug him up and killed him again.

Well you are too smart.
I wonder if a single one of the QMAGA nuts would name a specific item on Christy's list that they disagree with. I think I can:
MAGA:
We are NOT a people of principle and honor
We do NOT honor our commitments and stand by our allies
We do NOT defend against aggression by dictators
We DO NOT uphold and defend the United States Constitution
We DEFINITELY DO NOT care for veterans and children
Etc. Etc. Etc.

Mmm... car trunk soup. So good and lukewarm.

I find your proposal reasonable.
