Some of the worst responses I've gotten on Twitter have come from the putative Far Left (if they're not just trolls/bots). I've gotten a lot of flak for a) defending Hillary, b)hating on Susan Sarandon for her Susan Sarandon-ness.

Wondered what was up when he blasted Douglas Brinkley in the forward to his new book.It was so mean and pointless and out of context I smelled a rat, so googled it.Seems the notable and quite good historian Mr Brinkley gave Bill a meh review on some history thing he published a while back. Mr Bill went publicly atomic in a vulgar way and his reputation as a writer in general did not fare well.Plus Mr Bill's latest is loaded with vulgarities, snotty remarks and is not worth the paper wasted to print it.Guess it's that Hot New Kid Falls Off The Twig Before He Was Ripe thing.Worked for one of them. They age very poorly.

I was wondering when he would join the ranks of Granta flash boys of the eighties and devote himself to suck. Nearly all of them suck.

The best writer of our generation is Hilary Mantel, and her best work never got close to a Booker prize.

It's infuriating....I'm so thankful there are fiesty voters who won't take no for an answer though, like the amazing Ms. Hunley below. I'm no less angry that they have to go through all of this BS, but I'm inspired to see how people are fighting back!

Bernice Hunley, 70, said she was one of the seniors pulled off @BlackVotersMtr’s bus on Monday. But she got right in her truck and drove herself and a friend to the polls. pic.twitter.com/ADXtVmP6mt

If folks would just sign up for the monthly equivalent of one fast food meal (about $10) to Wonkette Editrix can keep the stellar writers eating and provide us all with the sustenance we'll need going forward!!!

State's explanation is bullshit. My wife's been caged two, possibly three times, and has only missed one primary in the last 15 years. We moved together, changed registration together, and even voted together, but she got dropped three times and I never was.

My obvious white-guy Polack name may have something to do with why I didn't get dropped.

this is a marathon, not a sprint

and the race lasts much longer than just the next two weeks -- this is a lifetime struggle, the GOP is entrenched, has the advantage, and the will, the dark money, and the unscrupulousness required to cheat early and often

we just need to keep our shit together and press forward... we have facts, history, and numbers on our side...

OK, now wanna feel bad? Black senior citizens ordered off Georgia bus taking them to vote from The Atlanta Journal Constitution

Government officials in an east Georgia county told about 40 African-American senior citizens to get off a bus taking them to vote Monday, leading to complaints of voter suppression. The bus, run by the group Black Voters Matter, was preparing to depart from a senior center operated by Jefferson County when the center’s director said they needed to disembark, said LaTosha Brown, a co-founder of Black Voters Matter.A county clerk had called the senior center raising concerns about allowing the bus to take residents from the senior center in the city of Louisville, south of Augusta.“We knew it was an intimidation tactic,” Brown said Tuesday. “It was really unnecessary. These are grown people.”
