Great American Hero. Also, he thinks the word "corroborate" is pronounced "cowoborate." We know Trump's most special-est boy Devin Nunes hasn't read any of the underlying intelligence cited in his infamous lie memo full of lies. He's admitted that. But we're starting to think he hasn't even taken the time to attempt to sound out the big words in the four-page memo his dumbass staffers fingerpainted into existence, because he
OK, here’s the thing about opposition research. And I learned this off the West Wing, it isn’t something that’s part of my actual work, therefore anyone can fucking understand this! Opposition research is not the smears in the scary TV ads against your opponent. The point of opposition research is to find out accurate information about your opponent. The opposition research people and the PR people who turn bits of it it into advertising are completely different sets of people. Also it needs to be accurate in case you want to use some negative thing against your opponent including just in a debate, but it turns out that the thing, say a vote for a dubious bill, they later said it was a mistake and they wouldn’t do it that way again. If you don’t know they disowned the vote you’re fucked. Good opposition research is high-quality information. The Trumpskis want us to think oppo research = scurrilous, not true bullshit. It’s not.
Also the whole idea Hillary did collusion with Russia because Steele had contacts in Russia, which therefore is the Russian government which therefore it’s Hillary collusion I first saw a couple months ago in a Glenn Greenwald tweet. Just in case anybody hasn’t seen through him yet.
Exactly! And the purpose of all of this is so they can paint Mueller’s report as more dubious information from the Clinton side. “Yeah Mueller's report! Pffft. That’s like the Dodgy Dossier! And that crazy dirt they used to get that FISA warrant on AN AMERICAN!!“ Leaving out who the American was and why he was actually being surveilled.
But I don’t think it’ll work, they’re just trying to hold onto the support of their base. If they’re not going to actually use their base to as brown shirts and make a military coup it won’t help them. People will go to jail. But Trumpies not thinking realistically about the situation that they’re in. It’s not just Trump who’s permanently in campaigning mode.
Well put. Whenever they say "a sitting president can’t be indicted“ I always think really? What if he kills somebody? Like with a knife in public in front of Congress? Obviously there are things the president can be not just indicted but arrested for when he’s in office. What if he declared himself dictator for life? People, especially in Congress, need to get their heads around the fact that this really is a crisis right now. One of the things I’ve learned from this is that all kinds of previously normal seeming people when something is a crisis will deny it is and go on with business as usual. No matter how crazy that makes them look. Depressing feature of the human species.
In the process, they are discrediting all of the U.S. intelligence agencies, Congress and the office of the presidency. It's scorched-earth nihilism, and it has permanently swayed 100 million U.S. citizens. Gross.
The one thing about the Republicans is they believe everyone does things the way they do. Nunes believes the Dossier was copied from a partisan source because that is what he would do.
He believes opposition research is equivalent to making up calculated lies because why not just make shit up.
He believes liberals will defend Democratic candidates regardless of belief, bias or bigotry (we don't) because his party would.
Ready for Kamala PAC just started up.https://www.facebook.com/ev...
Cedar cheese libel!!!1
I know, I’m imagining Evan thrashing around in the sofa tearing at his hair.
VERY interesting! What Trump was trying to hide was everything. Fiscal incompetence, Russian entanglements. Extreme stupidity and laziness.

Actual Nazi running for Congress for the GOP in Illinois. 😞 But I guess you saw the Wonkette article on that.

Hard to do infinite jest with decidedly finite cognitive capacity.

because an assault on reason will never make any sense.
can we move on?
I sometimes wonder if Fox News viewers realizes that there are actual democrats who aren’t even politicians.
His memo was a supposedly fun thing he'll never do again.
So much projection george lucas is jelly
