IF there is a munitions shortage, it is because of Trump assuming stuff, making up a hair-brained idea. and Hogsbreath just throwing as much munitions at the Iranians as he can willy-nilly, and then saying he needs a another trillion dollars to prosecute the war. Only two people need to be prosecuted in this... "His Supreme Incontinence, Trump, and "Testosterone Pete."

What exactly does a Border Czar do since he isn't answerable for anything immigration-related?

CNN should fire Dana Bash and Jake Tapper... they are both zionists and have no place in honest news reporting.

Day 1 of the next administration had better include pink slips for every goon ICE has hired under this regime.

"We begin with “Border Czar” and human embodiment of why the acronym ACAB exists, Tom Homan"

Tom Homan (bless his heart) is a stereotypical shithead associated with the regime who thinks spreading bovine scat is a sound tactic to use in a presser:

> "White House Border Czar Tom Homan strongly defended U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), rejecting comparisons between ICE agents and Nazis while criticizing what he described as dangerous political rhetoric targeting federal immigration officers.

During a wide-ranging press briefing, Homan argued that repeated attacks on ICE have contributed to growing hostility toward agents and warned that inflammatory language could lead to more violence." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5l56HU6W2k

* If you don't want to be compared to Nazis perhaps not acting like them would be a good first step.

* I guess "dangerous political rhetoric" is only dangerous when applied against gubmint officials; there's no problem with the regime utilizing dangerous talk in describing Dems (communists all), POCs, the undocumented, peaceful protesters exercising 1A rights, untamed media, individuals trying to protect their neighbors from masked thugs with guns...

* Homan thinks that the attacks targeting (almost none documented/proven) the ICEholes breeds further hostilities rather than consider it's the actions of those assaulting people in the streets on an almost daily basis leading to more and more violent acts, ie: attending a No Kings event or picketing outside an ICE detention facility -- and don't try to claim "weaponized vehicles, that dog don't hunt."

* I might be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that "sticks and stones ... but names will never hurt me" is not part of the reduced... sorry... sound training of thoroughly vetted new agents. Call an ICEhole an ICEhole and four agents will wrestle you to the ground and put on handcuffs while a fifth stands there with their sidearm drawn and pointed at you, a rioting Antifa member.

Of course Homan has the solution to the increased street violence instigated by the feds:

> "As ICE controversies intensify, White House border czar Tom Homan has an idea:

To save lives, he argued, ICE’s critics need to shut up." https://www.facebook.com/therachelmaddowshow/posts/as-ice-controversies-intensify-white-house-border-czar-tom-homan-has-an-ideato-s/1547029380416969/

This is, simply put, the 2026 iteration of the Pissant Potentate's 2020 solution to COVID:

> “If we stopped testing right now, we’d have very few cases, if any.”

If we just shut up about the illiberal, unconstitutional actions then fewer people will die at the hands of very fine folk trying to do a thankless job.

Holman also stated (separately) that if leftists complain about ICE, ICE will be forced to become more brutal.

If a free and fair mid term election is allowed to be completed GOP will lose big time primarily because of the war on Iran. Aside from the justification for attacking Iran is as bogus as DOGE, Trump promised no more foreign wars to GOP supporters. Moderate democrats at this time will be winners as republicans look to make palatable changes.

"vaccines don't cause autism is not an accurate statement" is a true statement simply because you can't prove a negative. they might as well put "kittens and puppies don't cause autism is not an accurate statement".

Maybe's avatar

You can prove a negative if you have enough data. If one million children get a vaccine and not one of them develops autism then the negative has been proved for all practical (and rational) purposes. I can't technical prove that unicorns don't exist, but the existing data is conclusive.

I saw a headline that trump is demanding that Senate Majority Leader Thune not allow the Senate to go on recess until they have passed the SAVE act. I do hope Thune ignores the demand. Or, alternatively, senators refuse to stay anyhow.

There's a bunch of Senators who need to go Campaign...

Maybe's avatar

Not sure how Repubs are going to do that since they won't hold town halls. Truthfully, the best way for them to campaign may be to stay as far away from their constituents as possible.

GOP Senators and administration officials response to dealing with any problem is basically, "It's not my job, man". It literally is their only job.
