Why is it always a Rethuglican?

Oh, right, every accusation is an admission of guilt!

One thing I like to trot out now and then (perhaps I should save it, so I can just cut’n’paste):

A young woman claimed for many years her primary residence for voting purposes a location that was not her residence, that was not a residence, and that was legally prohibited from being a residence. Nonetheless, she received mail-in ballots, filled them out, and mailed back in ballots from that location, which were never challenged and always counted.

The location was in Florida, a private club called Mar-A-Lago, and the young woman was Ivanka Trump.

Oh, they know all about voter fraud, they do.

"[I] sought guidance concerning my eligibility to run for office from election officials, and believed I was acting lawfully,”

You know who ELSE sought guidance from election officials and though she was acting lawfully? Crystal Mason, that's who.

They have some pettyfogging rules about running for Pope.

You’re thinking about running for Pope?

Isn't Jack Smith testifying to congress today? It's all over my other news feeds. What is this content here? You're frustrating me, tbh.

Mr blob's avatar

Eric Schmidt had a whole presentation typed up complete with posterboard of Jack Smith texting about going to a Hawks game, trying to argue that he was coordinating with Fani Willis……..I dunno at the dungeon of doom or something. He ended his time in a rhetorical flourish “YOURE A DIRTBAG”

Except

The text was about the Iowa Hawkeyes Who were in town with Caitlin Clark. Which nobody on team Scmitt bothered to double check

Found in today's OT post:

"In a hearing today before the Senate, former Special Counsel Jack Smith testified/confirmed to Republican Senator Thom Tillis that he dismissed the classified document-stealing case against Donald Trump without prejudice, which means it could potentially be refiled someday. (Much more on the Smith hearings tomorrow, whoo they had fun!)"

It was a lot of grandstanding, yelling, and various other stupidity, including embarrassing sportsball mixups.

So, you know, the usual.

i'm really all in favor of forced re-education for these whack jobs. they're so out of touch with reality that they really need to be re-trained and deprogrammed. i'm not kidding/kidding

This is so in keeping with their demands for virginity and purity -- while they're acting out cheap sex fiend scenarios on their phones and on their trashy Florida living room film sets.

Lying, cheating, hypocrisy, ignorance, and low class? At least they're 100% Republican.

Seeing Eric Schmitt's performance today has me thinking....

Which state has the biggest dickheads as a Senator tandem? Hawley and Schmitt seem to have the pole position at the moment. Paul and McShell-of-himself are close behind.

dave in texas's avatar

Hell, even with the empty suit of John Cornyn as second fiddle, Ted Cruz is dickheadish enough on his own to pull it off, I think.

HarryButtle, degenerate artist's avatar

Cruz and Paxton will make a helluva pair. Hopefully Talarico can stop that from hapenning.

"We found voter fraud."

In highschool my friend printed bumper stickers as a graphic arts project. They just said "was in the trunk all this time".

It didn't make any sense. But after a week hanging with Ryan it did.

If someone had a sticker on their bumper that said "find Jesus" he would slap that next to it. I want those stickers now.

He was genuinely strange. Shame about heroine.

Edit: I still steal some of his snarks.

I do not understand, and have never unerstood, why elected Democrats don't holler 'poll tax!' loud and long every time one of these voter suppression bills comes up.
