Whether they believe in what they say or not doesn't matter. If they have been bought off by the religious right they say what their 'owners' tell them to say or vote the way they are told to or else any funding for re-election they might have been promised gets pulled.

Yeah, no. Not at all. She's not "magnifying her worst fears," she's responding to you, after you posted that you like this misogynistic asshole, in a post where he's being reprehensibly dickish. You have no idea what she understands, but it is pretty clear that you don't understand. Abortion is a simple medical procedure that is vital, especially to minorities and the poor, and it is people like Kasich, and apparently, you, who want to deny it to them along with basic human services after a vicious assault. She has no problem. You are the one "magnifying your worst fears onto half of humanity" if you think it's ok for poor and minority women to be lied to and denied basic human and medical services.

Kasich has never said, including in this video, that he couldn't line-item veto this gag rule, he was pretty clear that he is in favor of it.

thank you. I'm sure Mr. JackDempsey1 knows very well that this is exactly the behavior that Governor Kasich has displayed all along to pretty much anyone who wasn't one of his rich pals he has been selling the state off to. The media in Ohio has been giving him a pass on this behavior pretty much since he was born. It didn't start with this debate and isn't about how he is treating FitzGerald. It's been his opinion all along that he isn't answerable to the voters. He fully believes that corporations have more rights than I do. He might very well get away with this during a national election, but only if he pretty much refuses to answer any questions, ever. I'm sure the concern troll believes that is a fine strategy. But let's not pretend that it has anything to do with the record of his current opponent.

well, no one has gotten access to him the last four years, they aren't getting it in the next four years. He knows he can treat the editors this way because the ownership has already told them who they will be endorsing. The editors have pretty much been laying down for the owners since 2004 when they opted not to endorse any candidate for President because the owners pretty much told them all they wouldn't have jobs if they endorsed Kerry.

And obviously sleep for babies is in such a crisis in Ohio that the governor himself has to take action - jobs later, naps today!

"We certainly want to care."

You see, he wants to care.

"I actually believe in the exception of rape, incest, and life of the mother. Okay? But look, at the end of the day, I’m going to do what i think is a pro-life"

You see, he believes in exceptions for rape, incest and a mother's life, but he's PRO-LIFE. Guys, it's not his fault it's the pro-life thing. You can't blame him. It's like this:

You got raped? "Sorry I'm pro-life, I don't care." What Uncle Saul abused you and knocked you up? "Listen I'm pro-life, I don't care." What, you gonna die? "Hey, I'm pro-life here. Bye!"

See, he's a really nice guy, but the pro-life thing is a real bastard. He'd really like to care about all of things that he really, really believes in, but that damn pro-life thing just screws everything up. You have to feel for him, don't ya think?

This goes to the heart of what the problem is with the GOP. They think they are holier than thou, god's gift to the world. They don't have to answer to people who are lesser than them. They don't have to worry about consequences to lives of people who are also lesser than them. That is why every Republican voter, donor and elected politican are fundamentally dangerous.
