Looks like Buzzfeed is timing their shit now, just a little appetizer for pre-funking the SOTU.Betcha Mr. Trumpypants is going full NO COLLUSION tonight. He's going off script and full WALLLLLLLLLLLL
The general pisser here is that many aspects of our Shithole Nation have been taken out of the hands of voters. It's really coming down to a long sparring match between armies of lawyers. I'm not sure that was the original intent if the Constitution.
if Lt. Dan was going to insist on replacing Schwertner with another Republican, he could have appointed Dawn Buckingham...thought pretty much any of the Dems who are not freshmen would have been a better idea.
Is this the same state that let's anyone be a Judge in Small claims court, no legal degree or experience required?
Is that still happening?
Yup.
But Montana and seven other states—Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New York, Texas, South Carolina, and Wyoming—allow non-lawyer judges to hand down jail sentences for misdemeanors without the right to a new trial before a lawyer-judge.
I am a great fan of timelines and stuff for organizational purposes so thanks for reading all thw docs because although i read the short buzzfeed version i didn't have time to read all those docs but i trust that evan has gotten it right.
we make them take classes. you try finding small claims court judges for 254 counties. all the ones in the urban centers are lawyers. and you can appeal to the district court which usually has a lawyer judge (not 100% of the time, but usually).
and, as you can see from what you cited: we're not THE state who does it. we're one of 8 states--including NY. so maybe stop with the TX bashing because that doesn't explain why someone who normally wouldn't be on Finance is.
Also on my phone atm, and I Ave never seen a phantom thread. Does that mean I'm stuck in El Mundo Malo? :-(

So, "best people" as they say.
Shot in the back.
THAT COP IS A COWARD.

I don't take Muffin because he's too energetic for the coffee shop. :(
Hit the grey box with the numeral above...
But if he pulls you there he won’t be so energetic. It’s sort of like letting kids run around for hours to wear themselves out.
