As we all know, remaining unprepared is always preferable to planning for a predictable natural disaster.

i hate to say it, but until the consequences actually apply to MAGATs they aren't going to understand the stupidity of their stance

Most likely they won't understand that stupidity even if it chews gaping bloody holes in their asses. We are talking about people who aren't just stupid and ignorant, but willfully, enthusiastically so. People who wholeheartedly embrace anti-intellectualism, because knowledge and information is "woke." People who live for the chance to punch down on the hated "Other." People who would gnaw off their own limbs rather than admit they were wrong or duped.

if they suffer any consequences, it will of course be all Biden's fault. He's the one who destroyed the wonderfully robust economy he inherited from the first TRUMP administration...why, he even stole the election!

(Ugh, I think I just threw up in my mouth.)

so our response to ‘its biden’s fault’ is ‘so is that who you voted for? cos the guy in charge now made that decision, so how can you blame the guy you didn’t vote for?’ we need to stop letting them blame the people not in power for the shit that their guy pulls - we need to change that narrative?

This just released by Russell Vought: “FEMA is being replaced by the CARPTRC (Christ’s Almighty Rapid Prayerful Tribulations Response Convocation). Whenever a tornado or hurricane or forest fire or other Godly punishment is visited upon our dear savior’s flock, the White House Faith Office will engage an AI bot to tweet “Thoughts and Prayers, and God Bless President Trump”. Paula White will then offer a collectible commemorative prayer cloth embossed with the name of the disaster (for example, “Hurricane Helene 2023”) for 3 payments of $29.99 (all proceeds to go to World Liberty Financial) that guarantees the buyer will find salvation and manna from heaven. Can I get an amen!”

Private weather forecast companies (Accuweather) produce zero raw weather data. They collect free processed data from NOAA and other foreign government meteorological services and tailor it to specific commercial interests and make a profit from it. If the heritage foundation gets its wish who do they imagine will replace GOES satellites or weather buoys hundreds of miles from land? Public expense for private profit with no strategic vision.

Everything about Project2025 is killing the goose that lays golden eggs.

"‘Big Donald Is Watching You’: MSNBC Host Mocks Gigantic Banner Of Trump

The massive image of the president now glaring down from the Department of Agriculture is a troubling sign of what could be to come, warned Ali Velshi.

MSNBC’s Ali Velshi this weekend warned of democratic backsliding in America, spotlighting a giant banner of Donald Trump’s official portrait that was recently hung on a federal building as a troubling sign of “creeping authoritarianism.”

Velshi argued that the oversized image of Trump now hanging on the Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C., is straight from the strongman playbook and similar to the grandiose imagery used by authoritarian leaders worldwide."

No FEMA is going to hurt a shitload of grifters. These people live for natural disasters and getting contractor money from FEMA. See Ryan Zinke and Whitefish Energy.

Before the wonders of interconnectivity, the Secretary of State's office, which registered all businesses operating in Ohio, would get huge lists of contractors from the Attorney General's office after each natural disaster to weed out the grifters and fly-by-nights.

Now, they just look it up itself.

"This weekend tornadoes ravaged the land, killing at least 27 people in Missouri and Kentucky and two in Virginia, right after DOGE took a chainsaw to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and its National Weather Service, and the literal day after Trump fired FEMA’s director, after that guy said FEMA was unprepared for storms."

So what if a few randos died, everything is acceptable to further the MAGA cause. Those 29 people must not have the common sense that G-dess gave to a flea; if they see the storm approaching and don't take cover, how is that the gubmint's fault?

* Biden never had a cloudbuster, it was the Jewish Space Lasers.

"the scourge of meteorologists. They may seem like a mild-mannered group to you, but Heritage is sure they are part of a “colossal operation,” the secret cabal of the “the climate change alarm industry” which is “harmful to future U.S. prosperity.”

People, many many people, people who know things, are also saying that the purge of the meteorologists is essential since not only are they part of “the climate change alarm industry” who are trying to ruin America's future as another ocean (to be called the "American Ocean"), they are all part and parcel of Hillary Clinton's pedophilia ring! The ring, and Pizzagate, are ***real***, I know this because Elmo the Man-child keeps reminding us of it:

> "Elon Musk continued to boost a debunked [debunked? I think not] conspiracy theory Tuesday, posting and later deleting a meme on X that referred to a fringe, far-right [not right wingnuts, patriots each and every one of them] claim that sought to connect members of the Democratic Party with child abuse.

Musk wrote “does seem at least a little suspicious” alongside a meme drawing from the TV show “The Office,” which included fake dialogue superimposed on images of a character arguing that “Pizzagate is real[]” https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/elon-musk-boosted-pizzagate-conspiracy-theory-rcna127087

"This industry’s mission emphasis on prediction and management seems designed around the fatal conceit of planning for the unplannable."

There is just one small problem with this (usual bovine scat) from the Heritage Foundation (bless their collective hearts); FEMA doesn't plan for the unplannable, they plan for the aftermath of Nature's unpredictability.

That would depend on whether it is a Jewish Space Laser stirring up the tornado, or one of the good "Christian" ones launched into space by the DOGEbag-in-Chief.
