All of this. For years I thought that the majority of Americans were horrified by the Kent State massacre--only to have that belief dashed when I saw a news report done shortly after the shootings were the people being interviewed approved of what happened.
Remember when Trump’s handlers had to come up with “Executive Time,” so Trump could play Nintendo and enjoy his burgers without the hassle of governing? As pathetic as that was, it probably was a gift to our nation. Executive Time deserves a congressional medal of freedom.
If all laws will sunset after five years, and we have a Congress so dysfunctional that nothing of substance can get passed anymore, won't that just leave us in total anarchy after a couple of cycles? What's the point of federal government?
