I totally agree Zap. I really see their sickness as just being deeply selfish, unhappy people. And like many sick, unhappy people, they don’t want to be happy, they want you to be miserable. Bob Dylyan’s line comes to mind, “Bent out of shape from society’s pliers, he cares not to come up any higher but rather get you down into the hole that he’s in”. Their prognosis is seldom good. They can’t that their salvation lies in giving a shit about their neighbor. Possible apologies to Dylan.
