Well, the mining companies do victimize them by being the most exploiting predatory companies, because they're the only employers, and then cutting jobs bc they can. Surely politicians have made it possible for the companies to do nothing to protect the land from them or provide the health care or prevention they could have provided all these years. Then politicians abet the companies further by blaming the EPA and the Left, and regulations and commies, for there being no jobs left. I agree with you. I saw that show with interviews with people in the poorest county. I don't want to trash those people, just because of jerk legislators.

Went to west Virginia for the first time a few months ago. I had no idea. Stunningly beautiful scenery. I think you guys have convinced the rest of the country that it's terrible as a way to keep it hidden in plain sight

Heartbreaking reading about Australia. I can barely stand to read about all the death and destruction there- I cant imagine having to live through it. I'm so sorry and I hope you are doing ok
