Why are we booing Israeli citizens instead of focusing on Netanyahu? I’m abroad at the moment and see plenty of “Fuck Trump” graffiti next to “Fuck Israel”. Why are those citizens not afforded the same grace that we are?
IMO Netanyahou is is guilty of both warcrimes and crimes against humanity. if there were any justice, both he and Trump would be in cells awaiting trial at the Hague.
While I have not seen the two Fur Affinity pages allegedly registered by the Kirk shooter and his friend, I know people who have. One was registered in 2016, the other in July of this year. Neither have anything in their galleries, no favorites, nada, zilch, swab-o, nothing, and the oldest page has only one person on their watch list.
There was some speculation by those who had seen the pages that they might have been scrubbed before The Daily Mail and later the NY Post got their greasy fingers on it.
Unexpectedly expensive morning. They finally got around (a month into the new school year) to asking for union dues, email was waiting there for me this morning. So not an entirely unanticipated event, but not one I thought I'd deal with this morning. I pay my union dues yearly, mostly convenience and occassionally I remember to get the 3% rebate when they mail me the next step on that, so that's done for the year now, at least.

Yeahbut we know those Nords are practically communists what with their "good of the society" and "trust in government" nonsense. None of 'em are proper rugged individualists, psh.
Look to Ukraine, you idiots. The future of war is large, diesel burning tanks being destroyed by cheap solar powered drones. (I don't know if the current generation of drones are solar powered, but I'm sure those are coming if they aren't already here.)
When the Ukrainians were gearing up for Operation Spiderweb (their coordinated strike against Russian strategic bombers) they used AI to act as backup terminal guidance for the drones in case contact was lost so they could still home in on the most vulnerable points on each target.
They used a Soviet-era air museum's exhibits to teach the AI.
That's 'AI' in the same way (just with more detail) that we've been calling what enemies do in video games 'AI,' though I grant it's a more useful application for it than most.
In fact, now that I remember a piece I read on the military rushing to adopt 'AI,' concern about losing that race is going to do more damage than actually losing it will.
60 minutes did not one, but two puff pieces on this Spunky Start Up (billionaire) who was making autonomous war bots and how great it was that it would not have any human imput.
Cause gotta protect soldiers.
What could possibly go wrong? Oh, there is a kill switch just in case but it is totes better than land mines. For the children.
Wait. What? You gonna push back on that comparison, 60 minutes? No? Ok then.
Using some technology that does not exist, they finally create a true artificial intelligence. The first thing it says is "You should have spent all the resources you wasted making me on renewable energy generation."
Woke up in a nasty period of migraine prodrome: the headache is still minor, but I feel puny, and like a train has run right through my mind, perhaps the train going by right now as a matter of fact, or Bob's freight train or commuter train. Anyway, I've taken my meds which will stop the migraine in its tracks. The symptoms will dissipate but I won't get the feeling of exuberance I generally feel after a migraine attack is over. Life sucks with this condition. Going back to sleep ealy this morning.

Neither do many countries. I would think an exclusive contract to provide EV charging on the interstates in the US would be a *yooge* grift opportunity.
There was a whole program to build charging infrastructure across the country in the Inflation Reduction Act but we decided to toss it out the window so nobody gets the money now.
When the Hortmans were murdered, the press constantly chided the left for suggesting it was political. Just a lone wolf. It was irresponsible to blame conservativism for yet another murder (they did not call it assassination) done by someone who just happened to be conservative.
I dunno about MAGA, he seems right up Trump's ass always, but he did not much care for Musk, Kirk, et al, because he thought they were not sufficiently loyal to Herr Ferret, what with once in a while them going maaaybe we should not do x.
Hence why he and Loomer both spent some quality time scrubbing their hate spewing about Kirk off their social media

We have TABS Sign!
NY Gov. Kathy Hochul has endorsed Zohran Momdani for Mayor of Noo Yawk! Yay, yay!
Birb is going back for more sleeps. :)
About time.
srsly. He won the primary how many months ago?
Thank you for this nice time news.
That'll certainly irritate Cuomo.
Do it again.
Cuomo irritates me. We're SPOSED to get behind the primary pick because "better than a fucking fascist"
How the hell are we to demand others do that when our own leadership ain't?

2016? Wouldn’t he have been 12 or 13?
Maybe they just signed up for the thing to read some friend's furry porn?
Entirely possible., yes.
I mean. It happens.
Allegedly.

If this assclown had a brain, he'd get Droopy Don to stop shutting down wind farms. These people are short-sighted and catastrophically inept.

So Doug agrees climate change is a thing?
Solar panels and wind farms will sort that right out! :)
Heresy! Call in the Inquisition upon him!
How about we feed the hungry and make sure that everyone in this country has healthcare?
If we could exclude that to white men, this country would do it tomorrow.
Would have done it years ago.

If yer densepack GPUs weren't quite so hot...
Huh. Too bad that waste heat couldn't be captured to generate electricity or something.
In several Nordic countries, it is used to heat the communities the data centers reside in.
Yeahbut we know those Nords are practically communists what with their "good of the society" and "trust in government" nonsense. None of 'em are proper rugged individualists, psh.
How about requiring these billionaires use those gigantic data center flat roofs for solar instead of stealing power off the grid?
SOLAR KILLS THE WHALES! (or something ... I've lost track at this point)
The newest is how wind turbines end up in land fills. As do EV batteries. So therefore they are not really earth friendly so there!
Er...you guys do know where gas guzzlers end up, right?
You only have to dig up the rare earths once for batteries, after that they get recycled. You have to keep pumping oil forever to feed the ICE cars.
*I know you know this but writing it down is better for me than screaming it over and over in my head.

Not to mention we already lost the AI race.
AI is bullshit, so losing that race really isn't a big deal.

ohh good. Data centers.
US jobs in Great Britain? Just like Trump promised MAGAts.
I wish they would refer to it as an agreement because it's never a deal for the US when Assface is involved.
Don't they call it a rogering in Britain?
I would remind everyone that the surveillance state of Airstrip One was the UK.

Biggest one was electing Farage and his greasy ilk.

Watch Hegseth talk to some uninterested soldiers about the assassination of Charlie Kirk by the coward liberal America.
I go on about this often, but I really do love how these people cannot ever, even by accident, hit the rhetorical notes they're struggling for.
How on earth are they still going with liberal america when the dude turned out to be an online far righty Trump swag wearing gun humper?
Because truth isn’t important.
"Shooter's Trans Roommate is cooperating with the FBI"
ANYTHING to bring up liberal/gay/Trans - he's far too white to try to scream "illegal"
I was praying it was an immigrant, said the fucker who everyone fawned over for speaking for unity.
Who apparently went on the Sunday Shows to describe how liberal the kid is. We'll see, but I smell a narrative being constructed.
100%
Apparently, they already got the mother scrubbing all the Trump loving pics of him.
I am wondering what they'll offer him to claim that he is totally antifa. Maybe take the death penalty off the table.
Got a source for mommy dearest?
I don't know how, but I know they'll do it without flinching.

So weird they are not pushing back on this shit.
I recall reading last night (might have been here) that Fuentes (leader of the groypers) has always hated MAGA mainly because of Musk.

None of them are, I think.
Which is good.
