Okay let's say it's a completely made up condition. The question still remains that Herschel has some glaring mental health issues that seem mostly unresolved which in any other race would give most caring folks pause about subjecting him to anything that might exacerbate his issues.

Sometimes it seems like the MSM bends over backwards to stave off any possibility of being called racist. Holding Walker's feet to the fire about his claims could be perceived as calling into question a Black man's intelligence. And if the actual valedictorian happens to be white, it might come off as even worse.

In this particular case I don't agree with this thinking btw. It shouldn't be racist to point out that US Senate candidate has habitually lied about his record. I'm just speculating on why there might not be an appetite for it.

I graduated bottom quarter from high school... flunked out of college the first go-round... then, at 26, joined the Mensa society... I guess it depends on how much effort you are willing to put forth.

It's probably NOT a lie though. I bet the guy believed it when he said it. He can't tell reality from fantasy.

How about being exposed in a "can't tell reality from fantasy" episode? Dissociative personality disorder isn't an easy thing to walk away from.

What's the worst possible outcome: that they elect a shameless liar, or that they elect someone who cannot tell reality from fantasy?

Seriously, which would be worse?

It means he's honest - he just can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy. No big.

Yes, he signed with Jersey Generals who were owned by TFG. This was in the USFL. Look it up to see how the Mango Menace destroyed an entire football league in an attempt to punish the NFL for not letting him buy a team. They wouldn't let him buy a team because he was involved with too many shady MF's in Atlantic City.

So just a thought: Does it actually matter that he makes such obvious lies?

A plausible lie is fine and good, but does he NEED to make a plausible lie when aggrandizing himself to a bunch of people who want to believe his lie? A highly accomplished black college graduate telling them that the they're the real oppressed people so whatever they do to fight back is justified? We're literally talking about people who weaponized their own damn stupidity. And then, once he stops being useful to a bunch of *white supremacists* they can point to his lies to justify their white supremacy.

We see what he's doing but he's not playing to US. His lies are *justification* for THEM.

American fascism is ever so much funnier than German or Italian or Japanese or Argentine or Spanish or Portuguese or Indonesian or Chilean fascism. :-(

What is any of this but a singular betrayal of trust for people and country! It is basted in ignorance, rolled in high-test "stupid," and then lathered in a toxic marinade of senseless incompetence and political insentience... Walker's not a statesman, he's a sock-puppet for plutocrats where he's not a political embarrassment and an ethics-less travesty of wasted privilege! Finally, Who votes Republican in any flavor but bigoted seditionists and meat bags with short attention spans! I spit in the GOP eye and charge for the wash!
