OK, I can see him doing this if he would also tell the truth - that Trump was blackmailing the people of Colorado and this was the cost of stopping him. The idea that this was some sort of principled decision is an insult to everyone who lives in Colorado.

The astounding thing is that he did a mostly good job as Governor. Not outstanding, but pretty solid. Then last year he proposed some weirdass walkway plonked in the middle of Civic Center Park (which was NOT popular with anyone else), and now this. Like...is this some sort of neurological issue?

We were so hopeful and excited when he was elected! And now...we're so disappointed and heart-broken.

Like, the weirdest part is that he's mostly done a pretty solid job! WTF has been going on with him over the past year? remember the stupid Civic Center pedestrian bridge he wanted?

"... unlocking doors to her office building where the machines were kept, turning off nearby security cameras, and buying all her co-conspirators burner phones so they could communicate without leaving a trail."

This is black-bag Plumber shit. She got the sentence she deserved and I hope Polis gets the reception he deserves for commuting it.

Hey. Avocados have great moral clarity. JD couldn’t aspire to such taste. He’s not even a moldy potato of a thousand eyes forgotten at the bottom of the cupboard in the spooky Evil Dead cottage.

Let me get this straight, age 70 is just too old for Tina Peters to finish her prison sentence, but 94 is a perfectly reasonable age to indict Raúl Castro?

The misnomer is deliberate

The reason the nation has had no such things is because in other civilized countries those commissions are called TRUTH and Reconciliation Commissions

And these Confederates and their enablers literally cannot deal with the fact that "TRUTH" not only is a requisite, but appears first in the name

“I think this will be remembered fondly. The nation needs to have a reconciliation and healing. " - Polis

Sorry, but No --- what the nation needs is to see people being held accountable for breaking the law. "reconciliation and healing" is code for "we're not going to do anything that would annoy Trump". This is the key mistake Biden made in 2021. That's got to stop. "Healing" and "reconciliation" only lets him and his friends continue to plunder the country for their own purposes.

Polis is a Billionaire. Not a Democrat. Billionaire always comes first.

I am not here for reconciliation. I am hear for burning the GOP to the ground.

The fact that they decided Peters being 70 somehow pointed towards leniency reminded of the TShirt "The older I get, the less 'life in prison' acts as a deterrent".

OT You're supposed to go out for dinner. Your wife tells you she skipped lunch cause she was

SO busy. NOT because her matching black vest and pants look a little tight on her. But you don't say nuttin' cause you dumb, but not that dumb. So you driving to restaurant row.

So you ask where she wants to go? She dunno.

You ask what kind of food she wants? She dunno.

You turn on the boulevard. By some Saint or Miracle She says "seafood."

You think almost there. Her, not the car.

"Mexican Seafood" with authority. I know that place.

I think "Salvation! Thank the Lordy, I kin see the Light!"

So I calmly say "Yes Dear, sounds good!"

I nominate Polis for the Joe Lieberman Award at the annual DINO Society dinner in November.

Lucky for her she wasn’t charged with assaulting a police officer. If she was Black or Hispanic, that alone would have gotten her a ridiculously long sentence or DEAD. [FIFY]
