"...Thor achieved $3.46 billion in net sales in Q3 2021". I'm pretty sure Q3 2021 has not happened yet, did I run into a temporal anomaly again? Or is that some weird fiscal-year time-travel stuff?
You haven't attended our Rites of Dionysos. You get Shamu-show-style soaked in wine, head to toe. You get wine in orifices you did not know you had. And this is usually on the first night of a four or five day fest. Yes, you need a shower.
Lots of recreational and hobby industries boomed because of Covid. It will calm down, as we get back to “normal” life in 2022 probably. I’m a pinball collector and enthusiast and the market started going bonkers in 2020 and hasn’t slowed much yet. Millions of people with more time on their hands is bound to affect some markets. Dagnabit, Joe!
also, I am reminded of a friend of the family - new awesome truck for towing, new caravan, new tinnie (that is a small aluminium boat with an outboard motor for the US peoples), pulled up to the top of the dam (looooong sharp downslope) and got out to talk to friends about how amazing new gear was - left the handbrake off, and they had to hire a crane to get the new truck and caravan out of the dam (it was 20 feet deep at that point) and of course the insurance noped out of paying, and they had to pay an environmental fine cos oil etc in the dam was a big no no

A good documentary about an RV trip like that is "Paul".
Yikes - that looks like it would take a Peterbilt to haul it around.
Thanks for the TMBG caption. That track came on on random play while I was in the office and it always makes me smile.
