Trump is busy accumulating grounds for impeachment. The question is which outrage will pass the tipping point and convince everyone that the obvious remains the only option.
When he is gone, this country has got to take steps to make sure something like him never happens again. The people in this administration who have been violating the constitution, the U.S. Code, and defying the courts need to go to jail.
As soon as it's possible, congressional-majority-wise, we need to change the laws to rein in the emergency powers of the presidency. There needs to be teeth in federal ethics laws. The Democrats can't just declare the jubilee and move on. This is a cancer which must be excised.
The underlying darkness in America will still be there. It has always been there. There is nothing we can do about that, except to put as much of it as we can back in the bottle.
While Ramaphosa was there Rump ALSO took the time to insult him.
"it's a great honor to be with the president of South Africa, President Ramaphosa, and he is a man who is certainly in some circles really respected, in other circles a little bit less respected."
"It’s moments like these that make us remember the old proverb May you live in interesting times, because we desperately would love for these times to be a lot less interesting. Or at least a lot less nuts." OMG my mother used that quote in her annual Christmas letter to friends!
Apparently, that road lined with white crosses is (or was) a real thing in South Africa... but as a memorial to everyone murdered in a country with a very high murder rate. If anything, a call for peace and brotherhood, not apartheid and fear.
I have a vague recollection of "American Thinker" from back in the Bush years - if it's the same person. They were known in "lefty" circles as "American Stinker."

Proverb? I always thought it was a curse.
"Think the Gateway Pundit but slightly more erudite."
So, *fourth* grader who squeaked by the reading milestones?

Turns out the SA pres had a few things to say also during that spectacle trump held. the press kinda went along with him on it. weird.
fortunately, since most of the media is unlikely to mention this, trump won't have to apologize or feel ashamed or whatever
As if that overgrown troll is capable of shame or contrition. However wrong he is, he is never in doubt.
it's a conservative thing.
American Thinker used to be fun to troll. That guy is a fucking idiot.
Ta, Gary. Of course it's fElon skuM. Of course.
There's the nation of South Africa, and the region of Southern Africa. Americans, for the most part, do not know there's a difference.
American ignorance of political geography has been rightly infamous since roughly forever. I don't see that getting better in the years I have left.

Ramaphosa zinged him with, "I wish I had an airplane to give you."
Good one.
Trumps apology will come any minute
Duh.💩💩💩💩💩

to be fair there are still people who think africa is a country, not a continent
MAGA: "It's a country AND incontinent, just like that place - what's it called? The one with the kangaroos. Oh yeah - Antartica!"
