I'm an old but have to read a lot of bad writing in my day job.

"FBI people with important information should report it to Congress instead of leaking. Whistleblower laws protect you. We will follow-up on the facts. Your confidentiality is protected."

but I can't 100% rule out

"FBI Pacific Power & Light want important info-tainment shield, report it to Congress; instead of stopping the leaking, Wanker/Blower laws protect us. We follow you home & screw up facts. Congressional confidentiality is protected"

Maybe us DC-area Wonketteers can borrow a herd of goats, and drive them buy the Capitol as these goat-blowers are walking out, and they'll be unable to resist chasing the goats... and we'll have the pics!

I figure mebbe the thing to do is approach this with nice little public TV jingle song things... Sesame Street's 'one of these things is not like the other', maybe...

Hard to make the scansion work, tho'... Between 'hiring a firm who employed a former foreign intelligence agent, who, even when he was that, worked for one of your allies, and hiring him purely for gathering information, in a well-documented opposition research operation', versus 'collaborating directly with a hostile, frequently criminal foreign government, them employing covert, active psyops, _at minimum_, much of this activity directly benefiting and done in the interest of this foreign government, the flow of money, accordingly, generally, quite in the other direction', well, sure, it's kinda a drag making it rhyme...

... But, hey still keeping it simple: one of these things would be illegal. The other is one of the reasons that illegal one is now being looked into.

They tell her to sit down and shut up, then they drag her out of the woods of upstate New York so they can tell her publicly to sit down and shut up.

Thank you for both the translation and the conjecture version. I'd laugh at the notion that whistleblower laws have done much protecting of whistleblowers for the past 16 years, but it's too depressing.

And yet, when Penn was founded, it was named "Unnamed Charity School." Let's all tell him and watch him splutter.

I'd've found it more convincing if CNN didn't have a history of saying, 'Some people say it's a banana. Let's spend four hours discussing the controversy.'

I have found that experiencing evangelical preaching, at least the modern kind, to be rather a little taste of Hell.

If you are counting on Richard Burr to do the right thing, you will be waiting a looooooonnnnnnng time. He's a little more devious and smarter than Nunes, but just as much a Trump toadie.
