I grew up in the South. We learned in Boy Scouts, which at the time required pledges to Gawd, such language that would blow the mind of a marine drill sergeant.
This is very true. It's not a true island, but is actually a terminal moraine (well, two terminal moraines), just like Long Island Sound is not really a sound, but is actually a tidal estuary. Geologically, it's a very interesting place.
I will point out that at least the North Shore is made of the actual debris from the glaciers. The South Shore is composed of the flakes shed by the North Shore over time, like dandruff.
Walden of Oregon fits your criteria but is not on your list. And his district while red is getting bluer over time, the two biggest counties in his district (5th and encompass most of Oregon and all those big empty counties) the largest is Jackson which now has an equal number of democrats to republicans, and the area around Bend which has grown a lot and has an inflow of democrats also. It is plausible that he could lose in November when for most of his races he ran unopposed. What I am saying is, at least in his mind, he is not in the safe seat he used to be. His support for Trumpsky is mild at best, he has been in office for decades, he is on Oregon TV a lot, but not so much network, but that is the only drawback and I cannot be certain of that since I have both Faux and Sinclair stations blocked. Maybe he is on more than I know.
Omg, worth it just for the nicknames... Proto-Harkonnen!
At the self checkout at least the computer says "thanks for shopping at XXX" while the real-live people hardly ever do,anywhere.
I can just picture that scene, too funny.

"Strolled the aisles with my boss."Is that an euphemism?

I saw one of Melania as well. I just think it's an odd look.
Latta is my Tea Party doofus, and I doubt it's him since his district is super safe and the cussing didn't involve Ohio colloquialisms.
Exactly!
I can't see any Congress critter from Texas saying that about trump.
They were stupid to think otherwise.
Whoever it was, I could have a beer with him/her.

Can you guess which side I live on?
Yes, Evan, you nailed it hard. Hard, I tell you.
Sadly, I'm aware. The remainder live where I live--Putnam, another of NY's shameful red counties.
