And his district while red is getting bluer over time, the two biggest counties in his district (5th and encompass most of Oregon and all those big empty counties) the largest is Jackson which now has an equal number of democrats to republicans, and the area around Bend which has grown a lot and has an inflow of democrats also. It is plausible that he could lose in November when for most of his races he ran unopposed. What I am saying is, at least in his mind, he is not in the safe seat he used to be. His support for Trumpsky is mild at best, he has been in office for decades, he is on Oregon TV a lot, but not so much network, but that is the only drawback and I cannot be certain of that since I have both Faux and Sinclair stations blocked. Maybe he is on more than I know.
