This is something you don't see every day. Or hardly ever. But on Monday, a grand jury indicted former North Charleston police officer Michael Slager, who shot an unarmed black man dead because "oops, I thought I was shooting my Taser instead," for murder.
The Simi Valley jury saw Rodney King on video relentlessly throwing his body against the batons of the poor, white, wimpy, soft and pink hero police officers.
I stand corrected. Slager entered a guilty plea in federal court to deprivation of rights under color of authority. State murder charges to be dropped. I guess I forfeit all of my archived p-points.
One down, thousands more to go. I really do hope the tide is starting to turn with more scrutiny on all of the truly awful, racist, unlawful behavior by members of the police all over the country. And more people willing to put their own safety in jeopardy by filming these bastards in action.
This will only increase the self-induced fear mongering among the "boys in blue", who are constantly telling each other how dangerous those mean streets are until they're afraid to drive down even suburban streets...
But, but, but... what about black crime in Chicago? The jobless rate of minorities? The price of tea in China? Won't someone think of something else, anything else?
Simi Valley.

Well shit, sometimes the system works. (don't want to jinx it)
And see this is what happens when your prosecutors aren't beholden to the police dept.
Only because he was busy pissing and vomiting on the corpse to show dominance

But, I think we have a long, long way to go.
Countdown to Sarah Palin squawking some word salad about "activist police-hating grand juries" in 3...2...1...
It's really sad to say this, but actually getting an indictment is progress.
"He'll have to hope for a pro-cop jury"
And, if things go really well for him, a pro-cop cellmate.

In South Carolina no less.

I look forward to the defense argument that handcuffing Mr. Scott was a first aid measure intended to keep his soul from escaping his body.
When will Obama stop attacking police like Officer Slager and agitating on race? WHEN???
good thing those Obama phones have video.
Given her response time in the Fartknocker Report, she should be shooting some word salad out in mid-August.
